Mentioning Bartman is just one of the cliches they use when they do a Cub game.Rooftops,Harry Caray, etc.They feel the need to use all those things to fill space instead of focusing on the game. How can you expect them to let go of the Bartman thing when Chicago can't let go of the 85 Bears. Oh yeah,and Joe Morgan sucks.

For the ten thousandth time, it's not lying, it's war strategy. I wish people would believe yhat the Cubs use war strategy.Like when they say Prior may be delayed a week.You cannot take it literally.

They're both very young and mvp/Cy Young type players. If your serious about winning and you have the resources,you have to try for at least one of them.Either player makes your team better for years. -
Hill is 26 years old,he was an "untouchable" for trades,but we won't call him up?We'll keep putting Rusch out there because of how he pitched in 04. Rusch also is the league leader in gopher balls.Very Cub like.

How is that realistic? Realistically, the Brewers and Astros are better than the Cubs w/out Lee, Wood, and Prior. If that weren't the case, you probably would have finished higher than them each of the last two years. Thats true.Without those 3 I believe we are not being viewed as a threat by others.

They wouldn't come for nothing but prospects. They would require major league talent who is cheap. I'm not even sure the Cubs could make the trade with them unless they did something like ship Zambrano along with 20M + prospects. Thats what they got for Beckett and Pierre. -

Definately need more better bench. Restovich,Hairston,Bynum ugh. Hairston seems like a guy that will put up useless stats. He'll get hits when it don't matter. His baserunning brings back memories of Alou and Patterson.

Was at todays game.Lee and Pierre were talking by the Cub dugout.Dontrelle walked up.They were talking and laughing together.Then Cabrera joined them.More of the same. I was hoping Hendry was around to see it. Found out later he was nearby.Wish he could get at least one of them,preferably both.

If it's just these three for now, I don't mind so much. He wanted to see what he could do, as long as Jones doesn't face lefty's from here on out, I'll be fine with it. Covering him with 2 righties.Just in case they tried to pitch around him.A .227 lifetime whos slumping . LOL

hes 31 not 21. He has faced a few through the years.Facing Dontrelle Tuesday? He can't hit bad lefties let alone a great one.Starting all 3 games is excessive for a player who is struggling,has been playing everyday,and can't hit lefties.

Its not even May and hes getting booed.Hes been struggling at the plate for various reasons.We all know he can't hit lefties.So Dusty starts him 3 straight games against lefties at home.What a great way to bury a guy.Then today when the Marlins go to their right handed bullpen he gets double switched. I hear Dusty plays all 25.If you can't play Bynum or Restovich in 2 of these games,get rid of them.
