    I'd take Womack over Neifi or Hairston. Even the 2003 version that barely could throw the ball to first. But since we're looking for 2nd basemen,when will Theriot ever get a chance?

    Does he pitch ever? Monco, you familiar with Even? I bowled with him for a few years. He is tremendously gifted and was a really quick learner to the game. Haven't kept up with him in a year or so, but I'm still interested to see where he goes after 07. Yes.My son and him played on the same team when he was 10. Saw him play once last year. I'll probably go to some playoffs if possible.

    First of all ,steroids testing is a joke. Thats about 10 years too late. HGH is what they're using and its undetectable. Its not suprising that they blame the Giles play for Prior. They still blame Woods problems on his high school coach.

    My guess is that the extension is coming.They will give Dusty credit for keeping the team together throughout the year with the bad luck,injuries,etc. They'll say they believe he is the right man to get the job done,they have confidence in him etc. I'm sure they'll say how keeping him brings stability to the organization etc. They won't say about the huge profits the last couple of years but the suits probably give him credit for that.

    Its like that other places too.Some people feel if you haven't been " on the job" long enough you do not have a right to an opinion.

    What Hill and Barrett said about not having the ball was stupid. The ball was a few feet away ,AJ is running full speed and Barretts blocking the plate. Is he supposed to slide or wait for Barrett to catch the ball before hitting him. If Barrett or anyone else was in that situation they would be expected to do the same thing. If its a close play and the catchers blocking the plate, take him out!

    It's not luck. Hendry got Pierre because he could catch the ball. It's finally paying off. I look for us to go 84-30 for the rest of the season. speed kills
