    Well,hes a lefty. They probably didn't bring their lefty bp pitcher on the trip.

    Last year Hill seemed to throw all curves.His starts this year he threw mainly fastballs.I have to question whose calling his pitches.Alot of guys are in AAA because they can't hit the curve. He has a good curve and dominates AAA with his.Plus,he is 26 years old. In the majors you need more than 1 pitch. That 90 mph fastball with no movement ain't gonna cut it. I would have liked to have seen him traded in the offseason when he was so highly touted. I have little faith in the Cubs aquiring something of value for him. When the Cubs give up on someone,they basically give him away. Sosa,Patterson,Cruz, etc.

    I agree with Brenly, Jones took a bad route on the one that hit off his glove.

    Why didnt Murton go to second? He knows if he got tagged or not more than anyone. Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Is it impolite for rookies to argue or something, or did he honestly think that he was tagged? It looked so obvious. He probably heard the ump already make the call. Murton probably felt the tag but didn't see the ball. I can't believe no one on the bench noticed the ball in the other hand.

    i dont think he want to waste any more energy! The starter with an 8 run lead late,we'll cut him some slack. Anybody else,its not acceptable.

    If their value is so low,why does Sportscenter give updates on their rehab starts? If either went to the Yanks,Red Sox, or Mets it would be the lead story on Sportscenter. All the "experts " would make that team the favorite. If these guys are a risk down the stretch in a pennant race (assuming Prior comes back and pitches for a month or so) what kind of risk was A.J Burnett?

    Walker on first, ball sharply grounded to Biggio at 2B, Walker was running to second, then stopped while Biggio held it, and had to throw to first to get out the hitter, then Walker ran to second and was easily safe. Why didn't Biggio go to second first, if Aram was running? Getting senile.

    DITTO Walker on first,grounder to Biggio at 2nd,Walker stops between 1st and 2nd forcing Biggio to either run up and tag Walker, throw to 2nd or throw to 1st.Biggio threw to 1st and Walker beat the throw to 2nd.
