    #-o He'd be good. But what are ya gonna do trade one of floyd or ward once they are back? Nope. The likelihood is that Ward won't be back until September. September won't be a problem because of expanded rosters, and in the playoffs both Ward and Stairs could have spots on the bench because teams don't have to carry as many pitchers. Oh yeeeaah. I hadn't read. Ward could be out for THAT long? In that case put my in Stairs' camp.

    I say keep jaque he could really be good for a second half run. Probably could produce a little better than pie could. No reason to rush a trade, UNLESS we now get overcompinsated for the trade. Which means we're in good shape if he continues. Everything seems to be going right for the cubs now.

    You forget, we're the lucky Cubs now. Wood will probably pitch for the remainder of the year helping the Cubs to win the world series. THEN his arm will fall off.

    If Jones has a great 2nd half, then why not for us? As long as the Cubs Keep Pie for the future I don't mind riding the hot "VET" either. But I do like how Lou has built this team. Getting Jim to trade away Izturis because Theriot is doing so well and having a hot Cedeno waiting in the wings is just one in the many of good moves they have made so far this year.

    I would rather hope the Braves help bury the cardinals behind us even further this season. I want them burried and dead in the standings.

    I gotta hand it to him, that's a nicely sarcastic comment. I'd like to know who "they" are, and when "they" said it, and "where". He creates lies just to BE an egotistic moron. Who's stupid enough to throw one back anyway? It can net you a brand new car, maybe 2 brand new cars, plus tax, plus insurance for 2 years.

    Has anyone else gotten an anxiety disorder reading critical over-reactive posts on this messege board all the time? Just curious. Put me in the "it was one game" camp. These players are people too. He had a lot of jitters no doubt. Think about if 40,000 fans gave you the welcome they gave kendall. You'd probably put a bit too much pressure on yourself. This will all work out soon enough.

    Kendall ruined our season. We will now lose by just 1 game. Fire Hendry and Lou, have a firesale. And shoot them. Did I cover the basics?

    Jumping to the gun just a little bit there Tomy? Oh, I'm not giving up. I just feel "not as good." I still think we'll make the playoffs with a little luck, but there's losing, and then there's losing because your new catcher who is apparently here to be an upgrade botches a play like that. I still feel we're a good team, I just don't feel good. You'll feel better when kendall starts hitting.

    I was reading shocker euphemisms. Had me laughing out loud. Speaking of shockers. Did anyone think last off-season that Marshall would be going up against Zito. And we'd feel comfortable that we could easily win that game? Now now. Try to think back to what you would have thought then. .
