    I'm deffinatly looking forward to the standing O. It'll be a special time for all cubs fans. I'd be suprised if Woody didn't show some facial reaction.

    They are without their ace. They are a weak team. They can win some games, but they will remain comfortably below the division leader the rest of the way.

    What a magical thing that would be if he came back. But also PITCHED WELL!! I think he'd got a long standing ovation. And if he actually did well. The crowd would go wild every damn time he came out there. I guarantee it.

    Sunday when I saw him in Iowa, he looked much more relaxed in RF. He was getting good jumps, covering quite a bit of ground and made some tough plays that looked like extra bases of the bat. He should be an upgrade over Floyd defensively. A wooden cutout of Murton wouldnt be that far behind Floyd defensively. With or without the wheelchair?

    I would love to see Marquis stick it to the Cards then I could bug my Cards friends with this question: "It's the second half, so when is Marquis gonna start stinkin again?". Brewers suffered a heartbreaker in extras. The Cubs are on the move.

    Oh my God. We are doing GREAT! Jones is playing great. We are 2.0 games behind the Brewers and 0.5 games behind the Padres in the wild card. And people are arguing why or why not Lou is great or lucky!? Can you all just get along and celebrate how well your team is doing for once, opposed to getting in little nerdy "I'm right, you're wrong, I said, no you said it like this" hissy fits?

    Has anyone gotten to the point where you feel comfortable with Lilly pitching? I remember alot laughing at the idea. But he really is a nice stable #2 behind Zambrano right now.

    Ever notice I wasn't even talking about Murton, my argument is about Theriot because he should be the starting SS, not cedeno. Yes, you brought in theriot to prove how worthless cedeno is, but you started it by mentioning how there's a perfectly good RF wasting away in Iowa. :D There is, and I dont' think Matt is the greatest thing ever but come on, he is most definetely an upgrade over Floyd, however with DeRo's injury I think we need Cedeno hear, as a backup. I don't know why everyone thinks Cedeno is the second coming of Honus Wagner. The argument is for Ronny getting a decent shot. Unlike Pie, we need to continue to give Ronny playing time. Nobody is arguing he an All Star right now, it's now or never for him, let the kid show what he's got. Cedeno just has promise. I'd like to give him a shot at SS for awhile. But at the same time I want to give soto and pie a longer shot. But if the team did that they'd have to upgrade at RF for sure. But that's what I'd really like to see.

    If you ask me, Between Ronnie and Ryan, SS is shored up. And between Mark and Mike, 2B is shored up. Our only place to work on is C and RF. Get a great RF and choose jaque or pie in CF. Or possibly Lofton in CF and move Jaque to RF.

    Tendinitis can usually heal and players can be given cortisone shots to help them play through it.

    and who didn't have a great year on that Sox staff... everyone was pitching out of their mind. That was even Neal Cotts stud year. Kinda like this year for us aye? Why mess with what's workin.

    I'll be one of the "Cedeno1's". His #'s deserve him atleast another chance. "deserve him" another chance? off to the TOEFL for you. I hate having to keep explaining this and have people keep picking on me for childish reasons. But I have OCD. Which means I write things entirely inappropriately just for the reason my mind tells me I simply have to. If you want to further make fun of this disease please go right on ahead. I'll suffer at the expense of your amusement.
