    Word of warning: Tread carefully. The Cardinals fans who lasted here know to keep away from Game Threads. Whoa now. I am sympathizing. Kozma sucks. I'm not doubting your sincerity, but many of us, me included, are a bunch of a-holes in the game threads and we can and will pop off on anyone who looks at us wrong let alone roots for the wrong team

    Anyone who's watched baseball the last decade knew Kozma was getting a hit there, the real surprise is that it wasn't a homer

    Yep. If there are stats that say the Cubs aren't being patient enough, sure, but I'm pretty sure their approach has been fine, and it doesn't explain how worse teams are hitting for more power

    He's probably safe but I don't know how they'll see enough to overturn

    This team better show up for Game 3. I can't stomach the idea of yet again losing 4 in a row to LeBron after taking Game 1.

    Ernie and Sammy are obvious, any of a handful of guys are fine for the other two spots. I'd probably go Santo and Sandberg but could be talked into Williams or Jenkins.

    I hope eight days doesn't change that. This team is going to be real good for a real long time. Yeah, this team is good, just no one can stop the [expletive] St. Louis team from doing whatever the hell it is they want to do when it really comes down to it.

    It's sure heading that way. Objectively this team is good enough to challenge for the division, and probably would in any division not occupied by these Satan-worshipping [expletive] heads

    The problem with this devil is that it's going to consign us to the coin-flip game until it normalizes.

    All Theo's genius trades can't account for [expletive] like Kolten Wong and Matt Carpenter and whatever All-Stars this franchise decides to crap out. Nice [expletive] job, Edwin Jackson, [expletive] it.

    The only thing surprising about that inning is that it was Carpenter and not someone far worse at baseball that hit the HR.
