  1. Ugh, no, please no. This team is (or should be) too good for 'well, it takes a little of the sting away' or 'what a great series'. This team had a trip to the Finals in their sights and barring 2 straight wins over LeBron (which we've never done in the playoffs), they let it slip away. There's nothing that takes the sting away from that.
  2. Fun, fun game. Already got 2 in this series, get 1 more and that would be awesome. #WeAreGood
  3. I didn't see the 4th (watched on DVR and after that absurd continuation it was obvious Cleveland would win), but that's why they had to win game 4. LeBron didn't feel like taking Game 4 by the horns at the start and he felt like taking this one. That's what it came down to. That's all it ever comes down to in this dumb [expletive] league - whether the best players want to win.
  4. My thoughts exactly. Got him out of the game an inning earlier, most likely. As long as he doesn't get hurt doing it, I love the constant hustle.
  5. Not having a losing record is fun. Let's keep it that way.
  6. Maddon is really confusing/irritating me lately.
  7. That was a strike anyway you [expletive] [expletive]
  8. It feels like it's been a long time since we've even had a neutral home plate ump, never mind one that doesn't [expletive] us
  9. It'd be really nice if Lester would not get hurt batting
  10. Because as the Mets announcers know, no one is more selfish than a 38 year old personal catcher.
  11. I kind of like that move by Ross, actually.
  12. Why is Castro back to rolling everything over?
  13. He's just going to be more rested for the playoffs now, and knowing Belichick Jimmy Garappolo will be awesome and they'll trade him for 2 first round picks anyway, so I don't know why they're so pissy.
  14. I just got back from celebrating two dongs together. What'd I miss?
  15. Either a late change or the Cubs' account jumped the gun. Not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand, better chance of more Russell ABs, but he probably won't see much to hit in front of Lester while Ross' best attribute so far, his walks, probably take a hit while not hitting in front of Lester.
  16. I disagree. It looks fine. Maybe a bit small compared to the jumbo LF board, but it certainly doesn't look out of place.
  17. He needs to stop shooting unless it's a dunk. It's basically a turnover if he shoots, unless Taj is there for his monster putback dunks.
  18. [expletive] Cardinals I wonder when the last time they were statistically unlucky in any sense was. They're at the top of these leaderboards every single year, it feels like.
  19. Will be nice to see people in the bleachers. Getting a split in this series would probably be an accomplishment given who the Mets are throwing. Need a shutdown effort from Lester.
  20. Damn, I just saw how terrible quoted posts look from Tapatalk on the board proper. I'll steer clear of that for now.
  21. People have been saying the Bulls' window has been nearly closed for years. Nope. You never know when injuries will occur. What if Love goes to Boston or the Lakers? The salary cap is about to go up what, $10-20 million at least over the next 5 years? The window is not closed. Who said that? I don't know of anyone that's said it's nearly closed before, mainly because until this year I would have argued with them.
  22. Pau is old, Noah has regressed like crazy offensively (though he certainly has played with tremendous effort this series), Rose is frankly going to be a question mark forever and with Butler getting the max this off-season the Bulls won't have money to burn. It's fun to make fun of the people taking every game seriously but the fact of the matter is we don't know if or when the Bulls will have a better chance than this one and it's frustrating as [expletive] to see them blow the one they had today.
