    Jacob deGrom has retired the last 23 STL batters he's faced and has 11 Ks through 8 innings. Glad he didn't have that kind of stuff when we faced him.

    I don't follow the draft closely, but I do remember hearing/thinking Bryant was the safest pick, not necessarily the best.

    I picked him up in fantasy solely because I had 3 pitchers get destroyed yesterday, so this will probably happen.

    Exactly The point is to make it more interesting. That doesn't. Any PAT kicking at all is unlikely to be interesting.

    Read some Twitter takes that said success rate will probably get higher with focused practice from that specific spot, too, which seems reasonable. Frankly I'd just rather do the NFL Blitz system of free extra point or go for 2 than do what they're doing.

    Is that a positive expletive? I don't know why it'd be a negative one.

    I'd be surprised if an extra year of service is a big motivator at this point, but I think it makes sense to leave him in AAA for a while and see - hopefully - more results from whatever tweaks he's been making. The extra year would, I suppose, be a pleasant side effect of that plan.

    Why would the SEC want to go anywhere else? All their players have been and will continue to be from the south. I think they're just irked that other conferences allow it more so than about their own not doing so.
