And all it would have taken was for the Astros to take Bryant and leave us with Appel and Beane not going nutso and we'd still be talking about how he hasn't had enough time to fully implement his plan. I'm going to enjoy every second of this *and* refuse to give Theo any credit, and all ya'll can just deal with it. You have a fair point, but part of this stuff is luck, and I don't think Theo (or anyone now celebrating him here) would say otherwise. And he hit enough unequivocal home runs over the last couple of years to get a good deal of credit. And this is coming from one of the most anti-tanking people on this board. It sucked. But this team might just be really [expletive] awesome, and it definitely is really [expletive] fun. Can't help but credit a fair bit of that to Theo.
