What do you do at that point assuming we are still contending come June? you obviously put Bryant in LF Yeah, that's the obvious easy solution. You dont trade for a stud pitcher? Screw pitchers.

    Here's a crossover that's not fun at all The Cardinals have had 9 starts out of 14 go 6+ IP with < 2 ER. It's really a wonder they aren't 5 games clear of everyone already. and now they get to play milwaukee sweet i don't want a stupid one game playoff wild card and i am irrationally upset about this on 4/24 Lots of time to go. Our bullpen will get better and their pitching won't continue to do this because they don't have 5 Clayton Kershaws in the rotation. I reserve the right to pretend I didn't say this when I'm rage-whining in a future St. Louis game thread.

    Most of the friends I talk baseball with are in my huge 14-team keeper league, so they're all varying degrees of smart (almost certainly more so than I am). If anything, sometimes I find it annoying when I say something innocuous about a certain player's struggles driving me nuts and one of my friends comes back with a statistically-oriented response.

    Would really love if CF was the backup plan to 3B. Bryant probably wouldn't be a particularly good defensive CF but he probably wouldn't be a terrible one either.
