    The reasoning is likely sound, but I don't like managing for hypotheticals. We don't know for a fact that we will need a good high-leverage reliever 3 days in a row later in this stretch. We knew we needed a good one in this particular game.

    Frustration for me. We all know KB is better than this, especially that piss-poor final swing. He's getting into his own head. dude it's one game he's going to strike out a ton, in or out of his head Thank God someone's here to tell me it's one game. Jesus, a bit of minor frustration in a game thread is not my referendum on Bryant's entire life.

    Frustration for me. We all know KB is better than this, especially that piss-poor final swing. He's getting into his own head. It's his first game in the majors and he's facing one of the what, 20 best pitchers on the planet? Relax. I'm pretty sure I'll be ok, thanks. Just wanted to see Bryant awesome-ing and be immune to any nonsense like 'facing good pitchers' or 'first-game jitters'.
