    He IS a classy guy, but he's human. A guy showboated him, and he showboated back. Personally, I don't want a guy who hides under a rock. Like I said, Zambrano was showboating last night, and it wasn't even in retaliation for anything. He was showboating just for the sake of it. You are making no sense. Holding a grudge for a year is less pathetic than gettingp umped about big strikeouts that keep your team in the game? Absolutely ridiculous. Admit Pujols is an ass for doing this or just stop talking.

    I've learned not to get my hopes up with this team. I'm not expecting miracles, but I am expecting a fun summer. This team is very likable and fights hard.

    .258/.343 (8BB/11K) Murt is the only player on this entire team (other than Lee) who could put up a pretty solid OBP even when he is hitting .258. Very impressive patience at the plate. :D

    just get an attractive lady to try next time, Neifi can't say no to the ladies. Neifi is a ladies' man. Vance, you could always try to get Rubby to forge Neifi's signature. :wink:

    The Bulls won't win more than one game in this series. The Heat are just too talented, and it doesn't help when the refs are awful and the Bulls make dumbass plays on top of that.

    Hope so, there aren't many better sights than Jacque positively beaming as he rounds the bases after a big home run.

    Unfortunately, it's looking like they're going to pretty much do what they did last year, except this time it'll be a bunch of hitters having career years more so than pitchers.

    Off the field, Dempster is my favorite Cub. On the field, it's Murton in a landslide. LANDSLIDE. IMO this is the best pure hitter to come up with the Cubs since Grace. I just love the way this kid does his job.

    It was posted in the game thread from Sunday by Vance. Apparently he's the only Cub in 2 years Vance can't get to sign, and that was his given reason why. Which is hilarious. I'd be willing to bet I could get more from my autograph on EBay than Neifi could. It's a legit reason. Lots of guys don't like signing for adults because they think they're just out to make a profit. Lots of autograph hounds are real scumbags. The flip I just thought was dumb, not arrogant. Neifi is always out on the mound trying to settle down pitchers, and has been both helpful towards Cedeno along with not raising a peep about not playing every day despite being paid like it. I second this whole post.

    We turned the TV to the Cubs game from the Bulls game right before Walker's walk. It was all us.

    Cubs usually do pretty well against Willis. My only worry is whether Marshall will continue to pitch well. Hopefully someone can step up big for the Cubs. This really is a lovable team. They struggle sometimes but they have a never-say-die attitude and that has contributed to already winning 60 percent of last year's total of comeback wins. Here's hoping they can keep it up.

    I was at a friend's tonight for the Bulls game, and thank the Lord the Bulls collapsed in time to turn to the Cubs game and see that eighth inning. Can I just say that I love Matt Murton??? He's the best pure hitter the Cubs have had since Grace! And Jacque Jones should not be booed anymore. He sucks. It's true. He'll never be probably even an average RF with the Cubs. But he has come up HUGE twice when we desperately needed it now, so let's lay off eh? :D
