  1. I didn't turn the game on yet but just so there's a thread
  2. I'm gonna go ahead and make this same move as well
  3. Colossally inept managing from TLR to leave washed up Cueto out here to face the heart of the order a *fourth* time with the bases loaded
  4. I remain all aboard the Morel train. Even though it didn't turn into runs, that was a hell of a job drawing a walk against Cueto to load the bases.
  5. It took 3 batters for La Russa to start complaining about a clearly correct call - tried to bitch that Happ impeded Grandal throwing to 2nd on his follow through when Happ made no contact whatsoever with Grandal
  6. Len is doing this game if you want to be all up in your feelings.
  7. He probably did get some of that. I know I remember Jorge Soler was consistently hosed on those. It got to the point where "a Soler strike" was a pretty common term on this board.
  8. Morel is just a lot of fun to watch.
  9. It doesn't make any sense. You'd think if anything a player with Suzuki's reputation would be drawing blown called balls, not strikes.
  10. Did anyone ever think otherwise? The guy who gave him $4 million seemed like he did
  11. Short bench or not, it's completely stupid that Ross pissed away what might be our best chance to score by sending up Ortega against a lefty
  12. Seems like he's been doing that to make fun of Anderson ever since Anderson (I'm assuming in jest) called himself the new Jackie Robinson during a dispute with MLB a couple years ago. Donaldson probably thinks that's very funny.
  13. It's Armed Forces Day this weekend or some crap. MLB finally wised up at some point and realized Memorial Day isn't about troop-humping camo horsefeathers, but they couldn't just quit doing it so they found some other day they could use as an excuse to do it.
  14. Having both kick in at essentially the same time has really been a shock to the system, that's for sure. I know the Iowa AD came out and said they should get rid of the free transfer, but that's not happening and he looked like a clown for saying it.
  15. Saban yakked it up last night about how A&M 'bought' their top-ranked recruiting class and he and Bama 'did it the right way' with regards to NIL. I completely believe him about A&M, but I'm already sick of the 'well, your NIL deals are buying players, but ours are totally cool' narrative from CFB fan bases.
  16. Something is seriously wrong with baseball if a superstar with 2.5 damn years to free agency gets traded.
  17. Who could've predicted that besides literally anyone
  18. It's really rather impressive that he's having basically the exact career LaHair had. Bad luck he didn't time his surge better to get a cheap All-Star spot out of it
  19. Davies has gotten like 5 pitches off the plate called strikes
  20. Some seriously terrible defense being shown off this inning. Some of it even isn't Villar.
  21. The graphics are very clean. The real time stat thing in the corner is sort of cool. The fact that we are totally gonna get shut down by Zach Davies' terrible ass is lame.
  22. Funny, I was watching Eric Hosmer hit line shot after line shot against us this week and wondering how close those discussions came to fruition for the same reason.
  23. They have a decent rapport but I feel like Boog kind of ignores some of the stupid horsefeathers Sutcliffe says with a mental eye-roll. Maybe I'm just projecting what I would be doing in that spot, though. Sutcliffe just is really bad at this, vacillating between making a relatively meaningless point he thinks is profound and vocally rooting for Cubs players mid-at-bat, which rubs me the wrong way.
