  1. How does one pronounce Woj-alphabet's name anyway? I think, not sure, it's Woaj-a-HOW-ski.
  2. I'd hope there are many more options available should they win. I know I'd want a navy SB champs shirt in that situation.
  3. WSBT Radio in South Bend is reporting that Kyle McAlarney is planning on returning to ND in the summer and rejoining the basketball team next season rather than transfer. :D Such great news, and with a huge game against Villanova tomorrow on ESPN, it came at just the right time.
  4. Wow. This could be real interesting.
  5. I'm extremely hesitant to make any deals. Just as presently constructed, this unit can and probably should win the East.
  6. I don't have NFL Network - I wanna watch Super Bowl XXXVIII... Seems like all the greatest games I've ever watched, my team loses!
  7. If there end up being any vacancies, I'm in.
  8. I'm guessing Marquis too.
  9. She's plenty cute, but I highly doubt someone is seriously bidding $100 million on her.
  10. Oddly enough, I think Z is the only Cubs starter I've seen pitch more than once - I saw him once each in 2004 and 2005. ETA: Nope, I've seen Maddux twice too - once each in 2005 and 2006.
  11. Google is your friend. Or Wiki Ok, so they wouldn't have a problem with high payrolls anyway, at least it would appear...
  12. Carlyle Group is what again?
  13. I predict that after all the Rex talk, he has a distinctly average performance, nowhere close to spectacularly good or spectacularly bad.
  14. Whoever is the Pistulls (I think it's Mark_R, but I'm not sure), I made you a counter-offer for that trade.
  15. MLB already has revenue sharing.
  16. Not that it matters to Saban, but that job isn't open.
  17. Cards lose a tight one, 60-54 to Kent State. I'm in the "moral victories" stage with this team. Skip Mills and Micah Rollin each had 14.
  18. Irish lose 71-68 despite a superhuman 32-point, 6-rebound effort for Russell Carter. I'm so pissed off right now.
  19. Big Ben with the fro tonight. Bulls look fairly good early. Up 25-20.
  20. ND was down BIG early but ripped off something like 17 straight points (with halftime cutting that into two runs) to take a 52-49 lead. 52 apiece right now.
  21. It was one helluva game. Mainly you can blame John Kasay. He gets forgotten in all this. I tried to hate John Kasay for that, I really did, but I think he hit something like 4 GW FGs that year. And he's been absolute money since - I don't think he's missed a sub-45 yard FG in over two seasons. I'd say he's paid his penance.
  22. Kyle McAlarney ended up getting suspended from school for a semester, which of course means he's done for the year. Sometimes I wish ND would be a little less ND-like in their player punishments (Powers-Neal DUI, suspended remaining 7 games of the season and his career, and now McAlarney possession).
  23. Forgot to mention the 2003 Panthers against the Patriots as a team that received no chance from the media before the game. The line was -7 for that game as well and not one person I knew of gave us a chance. I'm still going through the what-ifs from that game.
  24. Thanks mg. I'll have to bookmark that site as I'm graduating in a year and a half and would slit my wrists to work at Wrigley.
  25. Apart from the stupidity of everyone at ESPN picking the Saints to win last week, I just haven't seen this flat-out disrespecting. And as a Panthers fan, I've seen firsthand how ridiculous ESPN can get when they decide they like a particular team - not a soul that I can recall picked against them in last year's NFC title game, in 2004 when they were coming back from 1-7 to nearly make the playoffs, they were calling them the team with the best chance to stop Philly in the NFC, and this year they were referred to as the best team in the NFC pretty much anytime they won a game. Why anyone takes them seriously anymore is beyond me.
