  1. You can't say you actually don't hate it, the pictures are iffy and it looks pretty cool. You can say it's bad, it's okay, or it's good. It looks like crap here, even more crowded than the other angle. The banner is ridiculous, especially the dumb slogan. Why can't say all that? "don't hate it" indicates an overall favorable response towards the photos but not an overwhemling like. "the pictures are iffy" one thing he's not favorable about is the actual pictures used on the banners. This is something that hinders him from truly loving the banners. "it looks pretty cool", overall he thinks that hanging of the banners, including the horizontal banner that goes across the top of the marquee makes the exterior of the park look pretty cool. The pictures dominate everything. If they are iffy, it does not look pretty cool. And don't hate it is not overall favorable, it means not entirely negative. It's very obviously he doesn't think much of it, so saying it's cool at the end is pointless. Aside from the fact that it looks like crap. Dude, chill out
  2. I'm sad for his family and friends and for the fact he was so young and thus likely would have learned later what to do and not do when drinking. If I'm mad about something it's his parents and the parents that went on the trip. I would never allow my kid to go to Panama City Beach until they are out of my house and making their own decisions. My thoughts exactly. It is unbelievable parents of high school kids, even seniors, would allow, and even promote (from the looks of it), a trip to a drunkfest; amongst other things. I'm pretty sure I read that there were 6 or so parents on the trip, which makes this story even more ridiculous.
  3. That article mentions renovations including a new brick wall and sports bar -- anyone heard anything about these changes? I guess I'll find out on Monday but I'm impatient
  4. I thought this was all sarcasm until I actually watched the play
  5. Better than the concrete slabs and since they were removed, better looking than the open fencing.
  6. People are always like that -- like celebrities who start charities for weird diseases because their kid/mom/dad/friend is affected
  7. Harry was never actually drunk during games... it was a schtick.
  8. I thought it was deermeat
  9. Whenever Josh Vitters is ready to take over. That's what I thought... never.
  10. That thing is hideous. If wrigley is going to try signage, they need to go the Fenway route and regulate how they look so as not to distract from the ballpark
  11. Coble + more mature(Shurna + Thompson + Crawford) + Cobb Can't wait!
  12. Nessler seemed to think he missed the FT on purpose. I was looking down at the time so I can't tell if he's right. Not talking about the FT -- that was Eric Bledsoe, and he did miss on purpose. I'm talking about the previous play where Wall had an open jumper that he clanked. Then on the next play, he airballed another.
  13. Wall is such a choker -- front iron and then airball? No one will remember that if they win.
  14. (ahem.) HE WUZ SO GOOD AT SIM GAMES AND THROWING TOWELZ LOLGETIT? Thank you.
  15. You still jump higher off too feet, but it's a slower process. If you're on the run and want to dunk, you have to come to a jump stop and then bend your knees to get enough power to jump high. It's less of a fluid motion than taking off from one foot.
  16. That's not true at all. You jump higher off of two feet.
  17. Excited to play Purdue without Hummel. I think NU matches up against them pretty well.
  18. I'll be pretty pissed if we're not in now. 20 wins is usually enough.
  19. Will he really make that much more from Nike by moving to NYC? It's not like you cant put him on a billboard there if he stats in Cleveland. He doesn't make a NYC or Chicago clause in his contract, but that contract expires this year. You could make the argument that if he signs in a large market, he'd have more negotiating power with Nike. http://www.cnbc.com/id/27925375/LeBron_James_Has_No_New_York_Nike_Bonus
  20. If D-Rose were the best player in the NBA the league would pay for public speaking, intonation, grammar, and vocabulary classes like I'm sure they did for Lebron.
  21. Via the Bears' official twitter account:
  22. He apparently had some hip flexor issues, but I think a lot of it was just him wearing down over the course of a season.
  23. Very excited about Drew Crawford being the media's choice for B10 FOY.
  24. Hope that means he's a really good blocker
  25. Looks like Hebrew
