Northwestern is in the top 25. In basketball.

NU is now 10-1 and coming off 9 straight. After the loss to Butler, this is exactly where I wanted to be going into to Champaign next week.

I ran into Shark at a Lincoln Park bar last night. Really nice guy. Anyway, the first thing I asked him about was the Bradley trade. His response: "It is what it is. I mean, they got rid of a guy they wanted to get rid of and we got rid of a guy we wanted to get rid of. So hey." -
Stanford is not a bad team, either. They only averaged 11 TOs per game coming into today, and NU forced 18 or something. Go 'Cats!

Drew Crawford dropped 35 points, inc. 8 3s today. It was against North Carolina A&T, but it's pretty exciting to see that he can go off. He was looking really gun shy in the first few games.

Beauty has nothing to do with it. She's probably boring and/or annoying and he was looking for some excitement. Plus, she was preggo at the time. That doesn't excuse any of his actions, but it's probably why he cheated on her.

Sick to my stomach. He might be all you can get, other than a young unproven guy who is looking for a shot. Or Martz. i'm just saying, it seems to be the general consensus that turner is awfu, while a lot of people still think that weis is a good offensive mind who was just not cut out to lead a college program. I would find it acceptable, although not desirable. I'd much rather they get rid of the whole crew and then let the new HC determine his staph. And if Weis is involved, fine by me. I think the Bears do need somebody who has worked successfully with high caliber NFL QBs, and Weis has done that, Turner has not. Watching this team is probably worse than getting a Staph.

even if wisconsin fans/grads are tired of playing in the outback every year and tired of playing tennessee, there are a lot more wisconsin fans than northwestern fans and wisconsin people travel better. The biggest thing Wisconsin has to worry about in terms of traveling is that the Outback might have the perception that they're not going to travel as well as they have in the past after going to Hawaii this Saturday and all the recent trips to Florida (last 5 years). In Northwestern's favor is all the work our AD put in with them last year during the process despite getting jumped by Iowa. We also travel quite well to bowl games, outdrawing Mizzou fans last year in the Alamo Bowl, which had a higher attendance than an Iowa vs. South Carolina matchup in last year's Outback Bowl by about 800. That definitely had to get the attention of the Outback Bowl committee. And when you factor in the large alumni base we have on the east coast, including Florida, and the fact we haven't been to Florida since the 1997 Citrus Bowl, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we would outdraw Wisconsin fans there this year. Northwestern also has a pretty wealthy fan base, for what it's worth. The alumni association's extremely overpriced all-inclusive Alamo Bowl package sold out in less than three days last year, IIRC.

It says that she ran after the car and hit the car with the club. She could've done so and then used the same club to rescue him. Still messed up though.
