    why would Schwartz get fired? we overachieved in a big way last year, and similarly underachieved this year; we're still lacking in depth some from the mess Millen left and you see that with the secondary we've had to put out there and awful special teams play it's amusing though, that we actually have a better point differential than the 9-4 Colts

    Jackson's ceiling probably remains something like Jayson Werth or Nick Swisher, though the odds of reaching it aren't near what some thought it was before the year weren't there Jim Edmonds comparisons from scouts when he was drafted?

    Rich Rod is best suited for a smaller profile job where his indifference toward recruiting becomes less of a detriment he seems to be doing OK at Arizona, though i don't really know how upset they are over his handling of Matt Scott's concussion

    that, and i don't think there's been a moment of consideration given to him ever stepping foot in the minors, unless to eventually rehab an injury or something truthfully, Castro and Rizzo are more prospects than this guy, with much further development still needed for both

    The gap between Cabrera and Barney isn't that much when you have the former for 2 years and the latter for 4... I don't think everybody else is as obsessed with rating time under control as some sort of skill to compare players as people on this board. There's a clearly better player in that comparison. great, then we can just trade Garza (the better pitcher) for Bauer
