  1. that was better than sex
  2. i still don't think WSR gets it
  3. Because you can't be on the cover of a video game and still be in college... :banghead: I knew that :banghead: Since this is open to public vote, will Denard win in a landslide? Unless it just splits up regionally, I don't see a lot of names on that list that are well known. If you asked me what team EJ Manuel was on, I wouldn't have been able to tell you. Of course, this was probably Te'o's cover to lose this year..... Te'o is a better candidate than Eifert. But this always has been and should be a Denard cover. He's a perfect video game QB. Yeah but he's not actually going to be in the game http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1LY7bscQqZs/UQLuyCUjMsI/AAAAAAAAAL4/LMiI6lIZ-10/s1600/maxwell_smart__confused.gif
  4. very disappointing, my respect for him was at an all-time high thinking he decked that hobbit on purpose
  5. for the 3rd & inches catch alone he should have won what a terrible decision by Flacco there, he's 6'6 and they weren't stacked up over center...seemed like a pretty obvious QB sneak call, and he goes back shoulder into press coverage for some reason
  6. maybe this game motivates GR3 to stay a year and add refine his game more one can dream oh, and that *continuation* and-1 to Oladipo was the most disgraceful call in the history of western civilization, still can't believe it really
  7. how many [expletive] times is Dickie V going to compare Oladipo to Jordan??
  8. probably just going to watch the 2nd half on mute
  9. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qsSY_I7gzb8/T4N9az_RYPI/AAAAAAAACvc/sdZXv5AIptA/s640/Arrested+Development.jpg
  10. ok, that was a really confusing wording in the rules; you're saying a player has 3 cap-exempt seasons, but in all actuality he really has 4 ('10-'13 for Bumgarner) i'll gladly take it though
  11. can i pay in installments
  12. so his best-case scenario is Chris Johnson or Shea Hillenbrand. how exciting.
  13. He's the best HS player I've ever seen in person. http://media.247sports.com/Uploads/Assets/419/808/808419.jpg (tweet has since been deleted)
  14. i don't think Hardaway Jr. goes pro
  15. first time we've been ranked #1 in basketball since '92 hail Beilein!
  16. i have no way of knowing, there's a million factors at play and these things don't always make sense; Darius Morris left too early and Burke very nearly did the same ill-advisedly (of which i don't begrudge them) there's optimism that GRIII will stay a year and be the star post-Burke, but he's projected as a lottery pick right now, so that might just be wishful thinking
  17. i read the other day that Magic Johnson was the last B1G player to reach 17 pts & 7 assists for a season Burke's sitting at 17.9/7.1 right now
  18. I'm pretty pleased about this; it should also boost our immediate prospects after Toussaint shredded his nee
  19. and he ate his way out of the HOF; hard to think of such a precipitous drop for a player by age 30 that didn't even involve injuries best WAR for a player through his 20s, all-time http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=y&type=8&season=2012&month=0&season1=1871&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=20,29&filter=&players=0
  20. I think you are over glorifying the LB position by a country mile. Also, 30-40 years ago it was much more important than it has been the past decade. Defensive backs and pass rushers have been more important in the modern era. Agree. But what DB or pass rusher in the last 10 years could make a claim to be better than Ray Lewis? Not a year at a time, but body of work. Revis has been the best player at times. JJ Watt this year. Nobody has been consistently elite at those position the way Ray was from the start of his career to about 4-5 years ago. he was an elite player as recently as last year: https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/12/23/pff-afc-pro-bowl-squad/
  21. Derrick Walton, who's super exciting; we're well on our way to being PGU, basically and this Stauskas thing cracks me up
  22. i had obsessed some a week or so ago, and came up with my semi-realistic dreamworld Lions draft: 1-9) DeMarcus Milliner, CB, Alabama (trade #5 to NYJ for #9, 2013 4th and 2014 4th) 2-27) Bacarri Rambo, FS, Georgia (trade #36 to SF for #59 & 74) 3-3) Tank Carradine, DE, Florida St. 3-10) Kenjon Barner, RB/KR, Oregon (via SF) -OR- Denard Robinson, RB/WR/KR, Michigan 4-2) traded to MIN last year 4-9) Shamarko Thomas, SS, Syracuse (via NYJ) 5-4) Omoregie Uzzi, OG, Georgia Tech 6-3) Tavarres King, WR, Georgia 6-11) Etienne Sabino, OLB, Ohio State (via Titus Young trade) 7-5) Quinn Sharp, P, Oklahoma State unfortunately i think we're probably dead-set on taking a DE at 5, but Moore & Werner don't really excite me much
  23. i don't Ty Cobb slides are PFs anyway, but Brady's just that uncoordinated a runner
