  1. PFF hates Avril. He topped their most overvalued Lions list. to be fair, he was actually a consistently good-to-great pass rusher until last season and they supported that notion he turned down a 3/30 extension with us (before the season i think) and ended up settling for 2/15...oops
  2. this is moderately infuriating
  3. i personally don't like Denard a whole lot as a WR, his best skill is patience in setting up blocks and then exploding through the hole. he'd be terrific on bubble screens, but overall it probably wouldn't be a great fit; he's really just a project at this point i wish he'd decide to work some on his blitz pickup and focus on being a Jamaal Charles/Chris Johnson-type RB; he's the same size, has comparable speed & quickness, and has proven he can handle a similar type of workload
  4. Lions sign Chris Houston (5y/25M), Jason Jones (3y/9.5M) & Reggie Bush (4y); now trying for Glover Quin Jones seems like a bad fit, but can't complain about the other two
  5. probably the best blocking TE in football if you trust PFF he's been pretty injury prone though
  6. formerly tootielicious or something like that
  7. Pro Football Focus ‏@PFF So the Lions just went from Chris Houston to DeAngelo Hall? Sorry Detroit fans.
  8. Not sure how they'd make the finances work but that would be an incredible trio of corners. With the way Winfield and Tillman tackle, they wouldnt need a 3rd Lb. yeah, this is nightmare fuel just leave the division already, guy
  9. Watkins starts more games at 2B than Barney (trade)
  10. Not sure, going off tweets here. Don't have the PFF access. iirc, he was rated as the top run-blocking RT and worst pass-blocker by them around midseason he's a guard
  11. Denard ended up winning over that one other guy http://www.easports.com/news/article/denard-robinson-wins-ncaa-cover-vote swoon
  12. I'm pretty sure the deal is contingent on him signing an extension. What about him can be a real problem? Unless you mean injury problems (migraines/ankle), I haven't heard of any character issues with him. I know he requested a trade, but that doesn't always mean the player has makeup/character issues. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/02/12/the-harvin-debate/
  13. Prior karma is never sated huh
  14. Well, six of the last eight games have been against Ohio State, Iowa, Purdue, Nebraska and Minnesota. Someone has already said Ohio State isn't very good, which means those other teams are terrible. Apparently it hasn't been that brutal. they're the #7 team on KenPom
  15. i can't imagine how dejected he'll be after he gets sent to Peoria
  16. guess i'm glad now i couldn't watch the finish at least we fucked over lil bro & ohio
  17. not real crazy about Beilein putting our senior nobodies in, it's basically free points for IU
  18. Trevor Story & Dan Vogelbach
  19. lol anyway, Denard Robinson @DenardX UM fans, pls don't create fake accounts. Let's do this the MICHIGAN Way, don't want it any other #character&integrity http://on.fb.me/ZybY2l <3
  20. ...by cheating http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fmobile.texags.com%2FForums%2F5%2FTopics%2F2274925%3Fpage%3Dlast http://texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=2279125&forum_id=5 well that, and he did just set the record for all-time rushing yards from a college QB...
  21. Forgot about them. Isnt the South in Lexington though? Lexington hosts the first two games (first and second rounds in old lingo, second and third rounds in current lame lingo). There was some debate if IU would get sent to Dayton or Lexington if they do get a No. 1 seed, though it seems like it would be Dayton. The South Regional is in Arlington, Texas. Hell, just beat Michigan and get the MW #1. FWIW, I think this game is much more winnable than @ Michigan St. was on paper. IU doesn't matchup that poorly with Michigan as our 2 best defenders get their 2 best offensive players and they can't really get physical with Cody/Watford. not entirely true, since we have Morgan back for this one - he made a huge difference in the MSU rematch with how well he handled Nix i'm not expecting all those easy put-backs from big handsome this time around (and hopefully we can find a way to contain Air Oladipo)
  22. Don Cherry's beating off to the video as we speak
  23. oh, thank goodness i guess i'm to believe that Terone Johnson's like the best player in the country or something this is appropriate here as usual:
  24. i liked where they said Avril's performance was worth less than a million last year he's going to get $10M+ a year in the coming weeks
