  1. i might even go with Ryan Getzlaf
  2. Lions take Robert Woods, WR, USC
  3. fangraphs' pitchfx has him at 90.5 mph but 6 K & 1 H thru 3-2/3 IP are certainly nice to see
  4. looks like i have Bumgarner facing the Cubs on Saturday gonna go ahead and pencil in about 40 points for that one
  5. to be perfectly honest, i'd probably draft McGary before GRIII if the draft were today GRIII's not much more than a catch and shoot guy/fast-break finisher at this point, and his defense isn't good at all, so you'd just be drafting him as a Gerald Green-type project
  6. he expects it, but i don't
  7. eh, as bad as the officiating was it didn't perturb me as much as all the offensive boards we gave up seemingly 1 on 4 and the walk-on draining every single shot like he's Spike Albrecht or something and about that guy http://dc.sbnation.com/george-mason-patriots/2011/5/10/2164047/luke-hancock-transfer-george-mason-basketball damn
  8. man, i hate the call to intentionally walk Betancourt here
  9. yesterday the Brewers and their 13-man pitching staff were forced to bat Kyle Lohse as the final out in a one-run loss hopefully this will come into play in our favor too in this series
  10. we can do that?? for Braun i'm gonna put in...nevermind i don't have a single functioning player on my bench
  11. Yep. That was a pretty clear block - the Michigan guy was still moving after Triche jumped. maybe, given the benefit of several slow motion replays, but charges have been called that way all year KU got FTs for this play late in our game but we still overcame a questionable call to win, imagine that You know that they played each other twice this year, right? McGary came in out of shape and ended up losing 20 pounds over the season; he's been a completely different player in the tourney
  12. omg still hyperventilating
  13. well, i'm positively giddy with how this has played out so far
  14. wow, Shockers are executing just about perfectly
  15. 3-star recruit works his way to Wooden Award in his sophomore season *arbitrarily fixates on like 2-game sample of shooting %* basketball team reaches heights unseen in twenty years *frets about hypothetically losing four guys at once* etc. just really, really [expletive] weird to think that way
  16. who the [expletive] thinks of weird [expletive] like this hours before a final four game?? it's especially going to suck if they all collectively fall into a sinkhole
  17. omg Buck & McCarver are so ungodly obsessed with lineup protection
  18. Deshaun Thomas to NBA
  19. but he had a kinda bad shooting % thru two tourney games i'm told running tally: Wooden Award Oscar Robertson Trophy Cousy Award AP Player of the Year SI National Player of the Year B10 Player of the Year Consensus first-team All-American NCAA South Regional Most Outstanding Player
  20. we're getting two great recruits at their positions, but yeah, there goes all of our leadership and who ever really knows what the full effect of that will be
  21. why would you want a funny guy to die in a fire? http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7jrwj9ZbI1qixaep.gif
  22. part of the motivation for passing on Ziggy Ansah at 5 was the hope that either Damontre Moore or Tank Carradine would be available in rd. 2 and there isn't quite so good OT depth to pass on Fisher in the first that's how it panned out, so here the Lions are pretty excited to go DE Cornelius (Tank) Carradine, Florida State
