  1. yesterday the Brewers and their 13-man pitching staff were forced to bat Kyle Lohse as the final out in a one-run loss hopefully this will come into play in our favor too in this series
  2. we can do that?? for Braun i'm gonna put in...nevermind i don't have a single functioning player on my bench
  3. Yep. That was a pretty clear block - the Michigan guy was still moving after Triche jumped. maybe, given the benefit of several slow motion replays, but charges have been called that way all year KU got FTs for this play late in our game but we still overcame a questionable call to win, imagine that You know that they played each other twice this year, right? McGary came in out of shape and ended up losing 20 pounds over the season; he's been a completely different player in the tourney
  4. omg still hyperventilating
  5. well, i'm positively giddy with how this has played out so far
  6. wow, Shockers are executing just about perfectly
  7. 3-star recruit works his way to Wooden Award in his sophomore season *arbitrarily fixates on like 2-game sample of shooting %* basketball team reaches heights unseen in twenty years *frets about hypothetically losing four guys at once* etc. just really, really [expletive] weird to think that way
  8. who the [expletive] thinks of weird [expletive] like this hours before a final four game?? it's especially going to suck if they all collectively fall into a sinkhole
  9. omg Buck & McCarver are so ungodly obsessed with lineup protection
  10. Deshaun Thomas to NBA
  11. but he had a kinda bad shooting % thru two tourney games i'm told running tally: Wooden Award Oscar Robertson Trophy Cousy Award AP Player of the Year SI National Player of the Year B10 Player of the Year Consensus first-team All-American NCAA South Regional Most Outstanding Player
  12. we're getting two great recruits at their positions, but yeah, there goes all of our leadership and who ever really knows what the full effect of that will be
  13. why would you want a funny guy to die in a fire? http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7jrwj9ZbI1qixaep.gif
  14. part of the motivation for passing on Ziggy Ansah at 5 was the hope that either Damontre Moore or Tank Carradine would be available in rd. 2 and there isn't quite so good OT depth to pass on Fisher in the first that's how it panned out, so here the Lions are pretty excited to go DE Cornelius (Tank) Carradine, Florida State
  15. he probably won't seem quite so bad once his .800 babip comes down some i'm willing to wait for him to even give up an XBH before unearthing my pitchfork
  16. that's what i mean; i'm glad he was making guys put the ball in play rather than getting free passes Marte bloops it to CF: OK pitch, maybe a little bad gets squeezed on strike 3 to Martin, walks him: meh McCutchen rips single on FB over the plate: bad pitch coaxes a GB other way from Sanchez that finds a hole: good pitch K's Alvarez: good pitch Walker's GIDP: good pitch the results were shitty, and it obviously wasn't ideal but it's far from deserving of the dumb DFA rhetoric
  17. honestly, he wasn't really that bad today; a little bit of bad luck made it seem a lot worse
  18. i probably bring in the lefty here in hopes of a DP
  19. oh thank goodness i won't be hyperventilating as much in the bottom half now
  20. Travis Wood is a Cy Young candidate this year right?
