  1. This is like God telling me "thank you".
  2. Aaron Sanchez on that list just baffles me. I know he has a high ceiling, but I think he busts about 75% of the time. Also, all these recent lists are going to look silly when Soler is the mammoth diesel engine powering the greatest lineup in history.
  3. Mo Williams? That is wild hyperbole. Wade was very efficient at a high usage rate until the finals.
  4. Alcantara is going to be what Corey Patterson should have been.
  5. I'm still firmly aboard the Hendricks bandwagon. Believe he will have a solid mlb career.
  6. If he just sits on the bench I'm gonna lose it.
  7. OPS since 5/20 Alcantara- .992 Baez- .900 Vogelbach - .989 Bryant -1.324 Almora not so much, but he does have a near 1.000 OPS over the last 2 weeks.
  8. Seems like a good move for both teams. A's going to be very tough in the playoffs and they can recoup a decent percentage of what they lost by dealing Samardzjia later.
  9. Reggie and B.J. will never let that happen.
  10. Good Lord, Kris Bryant is slugging .800 in AAA.
  11. Not sure, but he played with Willie Mays and Chipper Jones and that's just crazy.
  12. Soler 2-2 w/ a BB. Does he really have to stay in Arizona most of the year?
  13. Pierce Johnson have up a BB and a HR in the 1st. Nothing at all after. 7 IP 1H 1 BB 6K.
  14. These guys are divas, they want to be courted and recruited whether they've made their minds up or not. Do you really think LeBron, Wade, and Bosh didn't know they were all teaming up well before they did the Free Agent meetings with the different teams? Yes, and it stands to reason he wouldn't be completely honest and open about his intentions during the courting process. Even if he did actually say it, these other teams can always change his mind. It's like after a first date saying " I'm going to a party with tons of hot available girls who are going to be trying to tempt me, but I swear baby, you're the only one for me. How often is that the truth?
  15. Melo himself already said he was going to sit down with other teams. Even if someone in the Bulls org. says it's a lock, it doesn't mean too much.
  16. Puig has a .369 BABIP with just a 13.9 LD% and his wOBA is still lower than Rizzo. Rizzo, in contrast, has a .317 BABIP and a 23.7 LD%. 3.0 fWAR for both. Rizzo is locked up longer for (very) slightly less money.
  17. To me the list starts and ends with Trout.
  18. Ok, this makes up for no Iowa game yesterday. Double header in Colorado, nice. And the matchups look very favorable as well. .815 OPS for Javy over his last 10. Ready to see him take off. 1.088 OPS for Alcantara over the same 10. Ready to see him in Chicago.
  19. Just contract the rest of the league. Bulls eternal champions. We'll have parades every year and we don't even need a roster! The Cubs can add Trout, Stanton, Felix, etc. Don't care. Bears can load up on mercenary F.A. Fine. The bulls drafted Rose, Noah, Taj, Butler. They developed under Thibs. They earned the best record in the league twice, and were two baskets away from being up 3-2 on Miami with Keith Bogans at the 2. I've never seen a sports team with the resolve that this one has. And the roadblock has always been Lebron. There has been a legit story arc here, something you don't often get on a team-level in sports. It's not crazy to want to see that arc end in vanquishing Miami and winning a title. For the record Lebron is the only player I feel this way about, and I don't hate him by any means. And yes, Edmonds was unpalatable, but he was a small cog in the wheel. A wheel full of players from trades and free agency. He didn't become the face of the franchise.
  20. Same reaction here. Immediately thought of this Randy Marsh scene and lol'd. Exactly what I was referencing. Too lazy to GIF it.
  21. i want them to get lebron and crush everyone's testicles because i'm a bulls fan. A fan of laundry. It's okay. Most teams are just that. This Bulls team is one of the few in the NBA that's managed to somewhat transcend it. Lebron is incredible to watch, 2nd GOAT, but he's a frontrunning beta who quits on his team when things don't go his way. I don't see how it's unreasonable for some people to not want him to lead us to a championship. Maybe if there was no chance otherwise, but this team isn't that far away.
  22. Iowa has the day off? *puts head through china cabinet. *
