For the love of my Fandom, please do not trade Caissie for a reliever. The offensive ceiling is too high and he's too close.

Here I was going to propose a long-term contract for Morel. The underlying #s say he's been unlucky (.377 xwOBA). Obvious power and now he's cut the Ks (21.8%) and started walking (10.9%). He's taken a significant step forward offensively, and though he hasn't been good defensively, he's made strides. Also, he's a ton of fun.

Good news is they're seeing all of San Diego's starters for the second time in less than a month. Steele vs Darvish, Imanaga vs Musgrove and Wesneski? Vs. Cease. Could go either way but a sweep seems unlikely.
