  1. The sad part is that parts of this team that should be sold will not. I see very few leaving (probably Walker and Williamson).
  2. false. Look at Patterson's numbers when he isn't bunting for a base hit. Awful. What's the point? What does it prove? It proves he has a horrible batting average when you take away his hits.
  3. David Ross: .320-12-28, .395/.708/1.104 You forgot 109 At-Bats. If Ross had 100 more ABs so far, Johnny Bench would be saying bye-bye to quite a few single season records. I still think Ross has an outside chance of doing that anyway though. We'll see if he can keep it up. If Ross had 100 more ABs, his numbers would likely be closer to his career norms.
  4. - Bellhorn -- a bench guy who can actually get on base - Nomar -- he can play 3B so we can move ARod back to SS - Jason Schmidt - Craig Wilson I'm not entirely thrilled with the class. I would prefer to see a deal for Abreu over a signing of Lee. Soriano's offense would be nice in this lineup this year, but will he do it next year and beyond?
  5. Link Buehrle's ERA was 3.22 before yesterday. Guillen finalized the roster on Friday. Francisco Liriano's ERA was 2.20 before yesterday.
  6. Lots more. They'll probably average 15 a game now that Lee's coming back. What, he's already back?
  7. He wouldn't-the Rangers are paying $10 million per year. The Yankees only pay $17 million per. He probably still won't do it, though. I would also assume cash would be involved in any ARod deal.
  8. It's also an over-the-hill stripper name. Hmmm...a horse, a cowboy and a stripper....where have I heard that one before? Were you at my bachelor party? What were you doing with a cowboy?
  9. Pfft. Rusch would be lucky to put up those numbers.
  10. =D> Roberto Novoa, ladies and gentlemen. Roberto Novoa. =D>
  11. Woo hoo! Neifi and Pierre to lead off next inning.
  12. Darn you, Walker. You're no better than the rest of those bums, except that you are actually better than most of them.
  13. It's also an over-the-hill stripper name. Hmmm...a horse, a cowboy and a stripper....where have I heard that one before? Were you at my bachelor party?
  14. Top 4TH B:0 S:1 O:1 Scott Podsednik bunt pops out to second baseman Todd Walker. Top 4TH B:1 S:1 O:2 Tadahito Iguchi grounds out, pitcher Sean Marshall to first baseman Derrek Lee.
  15. You really went out on a limb there, didn't you? i'm thinking about starting a pschic hotline. You shouldn't have to think about it -- you should already know if it'll be a success.
  16. 4-2, jerkwads. EDIT: By jerkwads I mean Sox, not you.
  17. And that's the only way it's going to get higher.
