Wait until everyone realizes Paredes is better than both Gleyber and Jimenez. Throw in someone being a somebody between Albertos/Lange/Marquez plus the usual role player supply and we goooood, chillin' n horsefeathers. Ha! One of those jokers referred to this as a desperation move!
I like the concept of the deal but not sure I like the amount given up. Now somebody tell me why Quintana has been bad this year and how we're going to fix him.

He's actually pretty great at calling out the NCAA on their BS usually. I mean, he has lots of experience in dealing with them after the whole cheating and transfer thing.
He has a 4/1 K/BB and has given up like 1.5 hard hit balls through 5 innings. He deserves to have given up 0 runs. true but god forbid he's able to overcome a little adversity with no cespedes or conforto in the lineup A little? The infield has booted like 3 different balls and they've gotten several seeing eye singles that were hit just soft enough that there wasn't a play. He's had really bad luck tonight.
Looking at his heat map is weird. He's OPSing 1.000ish on the outside middle but like .500 middle middle. Almost like he needs to back off the plate a little.
I'm not sure Heyward isn't a genius right there. He may have did that to make sure Rizzo scored. Baited everyone. That's exactly what it looked like to me.
