I could imagine them having a stickied thread in the Minor Leagues forum, but it would certainly be well worth trying out. I don't know what the interest would be.
Not doing as well as last year, but its better than it was - 9th, I think. I work with a Grimsby fan, so I tend to get the results magnified on a Monday morning. Not good, though, you're right.
Arsenal need a player like David Villa; that's what they need. Of course, it would break my heart to see him go there, because I really don't like Arsenal.
Ashley Cole gets booked*, then gets booked again. He stays on the field. Strange things a-happening. *Eventually, it transpires the first yellow went to Frank Lampard. Nobody seemed to realise.
Here come Huddersfield, football league. With a second win a row, and a fifth game unbeaten (and the first win I've seen since April) the mighty Terriers move up to 10th in League One, only two divisions off anyone caring at all.
I got to watch parts of about 50 minutes of the game. Pretty good match overall. That's strange - I didn't watch it, I was keeping up with two League One games (Its really tough listening to two games at once) - people kept coming up to me at work today and saying how tedious a game it was. :-k
Good day for my Champions League team (I'll keep it a secret if you don't already know) even if I was witness to a woeful 0-0 at the Galpharm Stadium. Down to 18th. :(
UEFA Champions League games tonight. (Or this afternoon, if you will insist on living in a whole other continent) Barcelona v Levski Sofia Bayern Munich v Spartak Moscow Chelsea v Werder Bremen Galatasaray v Bordeaux Olympiacos v Valencia PSV v Liverpool Roma v Shakhtar Donetsk Sporting v Inter Milan I'll be taking an interest in, erm, none of them. I'm at Huddersfield vs. Doncaster.
The only problem being that it isn't entirely clear if West Ham actually own the players, or if they've just bought some sort of appearance-based contract from their agents. I expect more to come from the story of the transfer of these two over the next few months.
