  1. I often wonder that. I do my dates such as, 1994-08-29, just because if you wanted to put them in a spreadsheet, mine would still be chronological when you sorted them.
  2. The worst uni in the history of sports, IMO. i've posted this before but i think it's the worst. http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/exhibits/online_exhibits/dressed_to_the_nines/pictures/timeline_1976.jpg http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/4394/scunthorpegl9.jpg This one remains my low-point.
  3. You're not wrong. I'd stick with Lennon for England ahead of Beckham.
  4. It was Lee first, then Hafner.
  5. Wait a minute, I was 8th, then 3rd.
  6. 10 teams, rotisserie, draft - I was 3rd, then 8th. C Brian McCann 1B Derrek Lee 2B Dan Uggla SS Troy Tulowitzki 3B Joe Crede OF Adam Dunn OF Ichiro Suzuki OF JD Drew UTIL Travis Hafner BN Pat Burrell BN Matt Murton BN Aubrey Huff P Carlos Zambrano P Ben Sheets P Jason Schmidt P Barry Zito P Ervin Santana P Jonathan Papelbon BN Andy Pettitte BN Tom Glavine I did have Homer Bailey, but I dropped him for Glavine.
  7. I find the new Firefox distinctly annoying, because it underlines names and all sorts of other things. I'm the English Teacher Option.
  8. (Jose Mourinho) Well, I enjoyed it.
  9. On the positives side, as well, Walcott's first goal for Arsenal was very nicely made and taken. All things being well, I should be at the Blackburn vs. Arsenal replay on Wednesday.
  10. I was thinking about mentioning it, but it was so pathetic, I figured it was better left unmentioned. Sorry, you're probably right - but it could lead to repercussions for (certainly) Adebayor and Touré, and most likely Fabregas, too. Lampard wasn't completely without blame, either.
  11. No mention of the 20 man 'brawl'?
  12. 10th February in the English Leagues (I'm watching Gillingham vs. Bradford) FIFA's fixture page - there's a fair few internationals on the 7th; including England vs. Spain. It must be an international date.
  13. He's taken a kicking in his time - especially after the 1998 World Cup. I don't disagree that his decline (which is well underway already) will be all the more apparent now.
  14. :D - He's not joining OM!
  15. So that people can get newborns on the list, I guess, and they might have a shot of getting tickets before they have to sign their children onto it.
  16. I got the Chiefs in the NFL.com Bandwagon thingyummyjig. I didn't vote for them here, though.
  17. By the way, DaMarcus Beasley has been on fire for Manchester City the last couple of games. If anyone wants a personal update, I saw Huddersfield Town win 1 game from April to the turn of the year, out of perhaps 20, 21 games that I saw. Not a good time for the team.
  18. He's played five games this year, three of those as substitute. Nothing special, then.
  19. He's been injured for a while I think. I'll check that and get back to you.
  20. I'm a Valencia follower, and Inter's a nasty draw, the only benefit being the home leg being second. I have issues with Milan being in the tournament at all, too, after the affair of the season, so I'd love to see Celtic knock them out.
  21. Champions League Draw. Porto v Chelsea Celtic v AC Milan PSV Eindhoven v Arsenal Lille v Manchester Utd Roma v Lyon Barcelona v Liverpool Real Madrid v Bayern Munich Inter Milan v Valencia
  22. [tired pun] Freddy Adu about nothing, I feel. [/tired pun]
  23. I love the reaction of the Barcelona player at the far post of the Frank Lampard one (I believe its the mighty Puyol); who is he imploring about it? And why?
  24. Give me this Trevor Sinclair goal any time. I see you Sinclair and raise you a This one was actually only about a month ago. I'd heard about that, but hadn't seen it - so thanks. I'll stick with Sinclair, just because the technique to hit it - imagine the pace its moving at, and the height and how far he is out, and he beats the keeper. Ronaldinho's special, though.
  25. Give me this Trevor Sinclair goal any time.
