    These games are surprisingly varied. 1-2, 1-12, 9-0. Two left to go in the series.

    I'd take people thinking I was a dork if I looked like Morris. Fair trade-off.

    If the Cubs were identifying problem drinkers and trying to help them, I'm not so sure the story would get out; I'd imagine the player would have a certain amount of protection and privacy.

    Its not so long ago at all if I recall. Aberdeen vs. Kilmarnock is Scottish league.... 3-0 it finished.

    They're not playing a make-up game, either. The game was called for 'smoke', which is a new one on me.

    Just realised I can listen to the Tennessee game, though its a little blurry on MILB.com Ed - Though I realised just in time to hear the double play that ended the game 12-1 in favour of Montgomery.

    I watch quite a lot of different ones on MLB.tv, but I always enjoy Len and Bob. I couldn't say whether it was because they talk about things I'm more familiar with, or because I know their nuances and whatnot more than other people, but they're certainly my favourite.

    Just got my tickets through for England A vs Albania at Burnley in a couple of weeks. I'm not a massive England fan, but it'll be a good experience for a few reasons. - I've never been to Turf Moor, despite its proximity, and it is where my club won their FA Cup Semi-Final the only time they went on to lift the trophy. - I'm hopeful of a performance from Ledley King, who is massively under-rated. - It prolongs the end of the football season a little bit.

    Albert Pujols hits a lot of doubles, too. Never a bad thing to be in a group with him. For the record, I did mean his 8 games in a row - I'm not way good with the stats, but I'd not seen anything like a record of that.

    Tomorrow, May 4th, marks the 58th anniversary of the Superga tragedy, in which the 'Grande' Torino team - the most successful in the world at that time, and arguably ever, were killed in a plane crash at Superga, near Turin. If you know nothing about the team, it is a fitting time to learn about them, and if you do know about them, its a fitting time to think about them.

    Liverpool didn't win at the Nou Camp by being a bad team, though.

    There's been some shocking balls played into the box during this game. Absolutely awful.

    :D - Leeds relegated you say? Best news in years, until their (admittedly dwindling) fanbase discover it means they've got another 23 towns to trash, one of them being my own. *Also, they're already trying to wriggle their way out of avoiding a 10 point deduction for next season. Here is an article pointing out their plans to file for administration early.

    The DH rule would mean Z didn't bat. That would be a bad thing.

    Agreed. I just didn't want him to come back and have a horrible year. I'm definitely pleased to see him hit some HR's again. I'm enjoying it too. Although it has meant I've watched a couple of Rangers games, which I would never normally do.

    Have just seen the video at MLB.com. First thoughts were how low key it was, and second was how good it was to see him throw to first anyway.
