    I'm still shocked about this. Derwood's (to me, anyway) one of the main - and one of the better - contributors to the site. I can only echo the thanks for putting the whole hootenanny together.

    What's your favourite way for the Cubs to lose a game? Go up big early, then watch the opposition eat away at the lead. Very Cub-like.

    :lol: I heard. I noticed the walks, and it just struck me I don't hear it often. Seems they were told to look for walks today. I'm all for that policy. Best of all is that I'm lying in bed and have sent both that e-mail and this post on my phone.

    I don't mind conceding to Ziggy, to be honest. I've enjoyed getting the votes in while they've been coming, but I'll be spending quite a while away over the next few weeks, so it might work out well anyway.

    Oddly enough I was thinking about that the other day - not the money; for the sake of whatever it was, that's not an issue - just trying to remember who it was. I've not seen you about on here for a while.

    Having accidentally slept through most of last night's game, I'm hoping tonight's is better. Roast's 'taking anger out on the baseball' sounds good.

    How do you propose a random card selection to work? If someone gets Dusty, we'll know its rigged. Also, I randomly selected a Card. So Taguchi.

    I'd be there like a shot. It'd have to be a shot out of some sort of super-cannon to get me there from here (and back for work tomorrow, though I guess I could call in with the excuse 'I was shot out of some sort of super-cannon and am in Chicago') but I'd be there.
