  1. More than OK.
  2. Seconded.
  3. While I'm thinking of it; Milan Nesta, Oddo, Maldini, Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Inzaghi - 7 Italians Kaka, Seedorf, Jankulovski, Dida - 4 Non-Italians Liverpool Carragher, Pennant, Gerrard - 3 Englishmen Finnan - 1 Irishman Reina, Agger, Riise, Alonso, Mascherano, Zenden, Kuyt - 7 Non-Local
  4. Of course, now we've mentioned it, he's disappeared and Milan are getting a bit of control. Its meant to be Jankulovski out there with Pennant, isn't it?
  5. It seems to be more his positioning - he's staying out very wide, so he can get the ball in enough space.
  6. I'm expecting an exact replay of 2005. Honest.
  7. No place for Crouch, with Gerrard forward and Kuyt up front. Rafa must know what he's doing. Shame there's no place for Robbie Fowler at all.
  8. And am getting quite excited now. The ITV coverage starts shortly.
  9. That said, I'm hoping for a good game tonight.
  10. I'm still not over the fact that Milan are in the Champions League at all, so there'll be no favour granted them from my direction. I was amused to see them drawn in the same group as a Greek team (who were also reinstated just as the tournament started)
  11. Any Milan fans out there? No? Good.
  12. Oh, I agree. Just because he looks like a giraffe on skates doesn't mean he isn't effective. He just isn't Liverpool's second best player. That's fair enough. I like Mark Gonzalez, too. ;)
  13. Where the deal is sealed?
  14. Crouch is a far better player than people give him credit for being; he might be tall, but that's nothing like all he is.
  15. It was an utterly tedious game. I don't particularly like Premiership football at the best of times, and this was one of the games I can hold up to illustrate why. All build up and no excitement. Although I would like to know where Didier Drogba ran off to after the game. More excitingly, OM qualified for the Champions League yesterday and Samir Nasri got the best hope of the season for Ligue 1.
  16. Stuart Pearce of Manchester City and Paul Jewell of dramatic rescuees Wigan are both out of work after today's dealings. Looking more and more like Sam Allardyce to Newcastle, too.
  17. Just got the game on audio: 17-6 at the end of the 6th.
  18. Go Cubs! Start this series as you mean to go on. (By winning, I mean).
  19. Ah, well, there's always tomorrow. I get to enjoy Pacman for a bit now.
  20. Time for Michael Barrett to start hitting; he's coming into my fantasy team tomorrow, and I demand points.
  21. UEFA Cup spots for Tottenham, Everton and Bolton. Relegation for Sheffield Utd, Charlton and Watford. In the playoffs, Derby lead Southampton 2-1 after the first leg, and WBA lead Wolves 3-2. Both leaders will be at home this week.
  22. You'd expect that from the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies
  23. I might give the Chattanooga/Tennessee game a listen - see how tired I am come midnight tonight.
