  1. Hosmer and Moustakas have exhausted their prospect status. They would move Mouse, but it would take a heck of an offer. Hosmer is their Starlin. John Lamb is out for thisyear with TJS. Michael Montgomery was thought higher of anyway though, but he struggled with his first taste of AAA. They have some interesting prospects still though. Wish we could get Wil Myers from them. I also like Cuthbert that plays third for them at low A this past year.
  2. He has IU picked to finish 18-13 overall, 8-10 in conference. I'd certainly take that record! I'll take the under. you should also take the under on "where will we find bruce weber in relation to treymon's car" if illinois really has the season kenpom projects and doesn't get fired He's gone after this year, IMO. If it plays put like most think and it prolly will, they can't keep him.
  3. Martinez is likely to come in between 25-50 and has played 1 year in the states. I'm not going to claim that Martinez is on Miller's level, because he has a much higher chance of busting, but he's very highly regarded by just about everyone. Miller, Martinez and Jenkins are all likely to be in the BA top 50 with Wong and Cox in the top 100. Matt Adams has a shot to be top 100, but shouldn't be because he's fat and doesn't walk. You really think they will have Jenkins in their top 50? He's got a shot. Probably shouldn't have said likely. I know Law has mentioned him in his top 50 (I know it's not BA.) And I completely forgot about Oscar Taveras for some reason. Cards are pretty much a lock to have 6 players in the top 100 and could have a 7th in Adams. I like Jenkins, just think he's pretty raw. I'd be surprised if he was top 50, top 100 though for sure. He's no Hayden Simpson...... :banghead:

  5. Now we just need Gary Harris to Purdue. =D> I think I'll pass on that . . . though I'd much rather see him at Purdue than Kentucky. If we land Anthony Parker I don't care who you guys get. Eh, I'm not holding my breath. I'd love to have Harris, obviously, but I really doubt he ends up at IU. Lol we aren't getting Parker either, he's going to Duke.
  6. If he gets it, we could be very good quickly.
  7. And we are slowing it down, thank god this idiot will be gone soon.

  9. I've heard bad things about the streaming quality. I know the Illinois game will be replayed the next day I believe, I'm sure Pudues will be as well.
  10. This was my thought. Maybe Albert told him he's not coming back no matter what. Lots of signs pointing to him leaving, he asked Tony to sign a photo from his rookie year before game 6. That doesn't sound like someone who was planning on being together much longer. Maybe I was the one who heard the story wrong, but the way I heard the story, Pujols asked him to sign that picture after his rookie year. Tony asked if he could have a couple of days to think about what to write, and he wrote, "To the best player I've ever managed," or something along those lines. The story, as I understood it, was that he wrote that right after Albert's rookie year. Not before game 6. Buck said that Pujols came to him before game 6 and that Tony didn't want to sign the photo.

  12. I wonder if this has anything to do with Albert?
  13. I don't think he was ever truly available for less than a steep price, but he would've been nice. I remember last year their were rumblings of Colvin for Gordon, but that was little more than fan fic. Would sure have been nice though. Trust me when I say the sports radio shows had floated that idea down here and many of my friends who love the Royals were all for it. I wonder if we kicked the tires at all?
  14. Ok lets pretend like Theo is gonna help us win, we can't win. We were cursed by gypsies that live in Tony LaRussas left eyelid. Ricketts actually tried to get them out this year, you didn't really think that was Shingles did you? The Cubs should probably just quit, athletes don't even like our money we give them, they think it's loser money.
  15. So did Josh Hancock, sadly he drove alone. I thought Jack Buck was in the car? Was that before or after they reanimated him for that seventh inning stretch at Wrigley Field when he stumbled around and pooped himself?
  16. And wait, Aram is a Roid guy? FFS Mark McGwire is your hitting coach.

  18. I like the talent we have, but there isn't much experience and our coach has been awful the past few years.
  19. Zook team sure all well coached.....
  20. If you're going to try to troll, please be more creative. You could at least put in the effort not to show your IP address is from Memphis. Weak. It's not as if I expected to fool anyone. I hate trolls, so for that I apologize. Just having a little fun. You guys were pretty brutal. Hopefully the Cardinals AAA team shares the big league's love of DUI while you're out for a walk. They do, it's taught. Shelby Miller was suspended this year for just drinking. Don't half ass it on Tonys team.
  21. I love Brandon Paul and really hopes he becomes what I think he can this year. Man if Bruce was a bit better at roster management he would have done pretty well at Illinois.
  22. Well Allen Craig and David Freese just lead you toma World Series, it's gonna be tough for us to be luckier than you. Thanks though. It was also pretty lucky that they got that 0.08 inches of rain that "forced" the rain out and allowed Carpenter to pitch the clincher. Oh well, it's over. Time for us to get one.
  23. I'm pretty sure the only way this particular team is good is if Bruce turns them loose to run and pressure more. We have great depth, but we're weak in terms of star power. The lack of a quality point guard will also hurt us in running Bruce's motion offense in the half court. I just don't see Bruce going to a full court game, though. I look at it like this he's afraid uptempo could result in some blowout losses since we could struggle to score, so he will keep the pace slow. But, like you said we can't win big playing slow down ball with this roster. If we continue to play Bruce's normal offense, then my buddy is right that we have to hope for a big breakout by the big men. Which we do have the chance for, whenever the light clicks for Leonard we will get a lot better. No one in college basketball has the tools to match up with him. I just don't think it's gonna happen this year.
