  1. I'm not surprised about 2 of them. The Canadian kid was a bit of a shock, but he probably isn't good enough to play at KU anyway. this will be a pretty tough year for KU hoops. Not a lot of depth. By tough year do you mean 25+ wins and a No. 3 seed in the tournament? I know they didn't bring in a superstar class, but they'll lose maybe four games in the non-conference portion and the only Big 12 game I think they'll lose is at aTm. Don't they play Baylor twice?
  2. Sure they still had to win game 6, but getting them a game 7 with carpenter is a huge deal.
  3. Because the Rangers made bad decisions, played sloppily and too many of the relievers pitched like [expletive]. Luckily the cardinals played a flawless game so they could overcome all of that.......
  4. After seeing the Cardinals claw back like that twice last night, its hard to envision them losing tonight. How in the he'll did that Hamilton homer not crush them?
  5. Nuts you are a buzz kill, fan short for fanatic. You're gonna be the type of cub fan who will find a reason to not go crazy when Theo leads us to the promised land. The Cardinals are about to win it all in a year when they didn't deserve to even be there. Can't we at least bitch about it without you feeling the need to piss in our cheerios?
  6. It seems all Cardinal fans feel the need to try and slam cub fans more than just enjoy their world series runs. Sad group of people.
  7. Yes, one of those lazy curses where it always goes their way except for all the times it doesn't. All it proves to me is Selig has a man crush on LaRussa and will always give his teams the benefit of the doubt. The fact that the Cardinals were able to postpone a World Series game when it could have been played in order to set up their rotation is pretty sickening. Wow. Even Berkman came out and said the game should have been played. It's just like for how 8 of the 10 years during the '00s when the cubs had to go to St. Louis more than they came to Chicago. They may in fact be small things, but there shouldn't be any advantage at all.

  9. I'd say they were fairly successful. successful at being douchebags sure. they were built to win a title and anything less than winning the title is not considered a successful year. So thus far they are batting 0%. that's a silly, emotionally driven statement. it was basically those 3 guys, a little james jones, and a bunch of garbage and they got to the 6th game of the damn nba finals in their first season together. Mike Miller is not garbage, in fact if he's a Bull we probably win it all.
  10. Please find a way Rangers. Please, if I have to see one more stupid squirrel thing.
  11. That game was herpes, although it would have been cool if Hamilton would have won it on a homer.
  12. lezbehonest, this game was exciting because it was played/managed terribly (just saying it wasn't exactly some triumphant example of great baseball) Let's be honest an NFL where you can't breathe on the qb isn't really football anymore. If you say so. I mean it's still ok, but it just seems like it's on arcade setting now.

  14. Jesus David Freese might be a [expletive].
  15. When are we gonna get this kind of World Series game?
  16. This is gonna end poorly for us.
  17. by productive out i assume you mean "cut the cards' win probability in half" Lol numbers don't mean a thing to them. Still flogging that one, eh? Have you been paying attention to the past month and a half? The numbers had them dead a long, long time ago.

  19. Yep they aren't losing.
  20. Yep, Theo screwed up. Cardinal pixie dust is harder to beat than the Yankees money.
  21. Just die already, Jesus.
  22. Strike 2 called ball 1
