The next page involves a bunch more posters making fun of Trout. Even more delicious. Hindsight is fun. From what I was reading, they were making fun of the broadcast for using the same adjectives to describe every draftee. They were making fun of the stuff Reynolds was saying about Trout, not of Trout. There were also several pages of posters hoping someone else would draft Brett Jackson to save the Cubs FO from themselves. -

Interestingly enough, the Cubs are currently structured in a way where Bryant could slide in at 3B or LF and isn't really taking a job from anyone.

"I think the fact that Tony (La Russa) is here and that we have more baseball people – he probably sees us as a true baseball team vs. some of the other teams out here that are geared more toward analytics and those type of things. "Sometimes, there are concessions the player will make to be here. It's the case that he likes what we're doing with our organization from our end, all we can hope is that there will be concessions enough that he can be here."

That picture clearly shows him going to the ground, which means it's irrelevant whether he looks like he has it there, he has to maintain possession through to the ground.

Hey that's great, they can be good in the regular season and then get run in the playoffs early again. Also, enough with this game shape nonsense. If it takes you half a season of games to get in "game shape", maybe you just aren't very good. The guy has had 3 years out of the game (save about 2 weeks) and the team is cruising with him in the lineup. He's currently got about a league average PER despite basically being unable to hit anything the past week of games, and even with his personal offensive struggles the team's offense is top 5 in the league with him in the lineup. So he's not hurting anything but your sense of logic by being in there and doing what he's doing, despite tonight's unwatchable offensive display in the first half.

Yeah, he's really making the Bulls struggle while he works his way into regular game shape. It's almost as if they haven't won 13 of 15.
