  1. I could see a trade down to give them more ammo to trade up later if necessary. But I don't see a major trade back. I was thinking Philly at 22 was the trade down limit, but I don't know if they can afford to go past 19 if they still want 1 of their 6 targets. But the Niners are looming at 30, with a lot to give and the desire to go above Pittsburgh if they want Odell Beckham. Not sure how feasible it would be to go to 30 then trade back up to the teens.
  2. He claimed post-fight that he could've out boxed him, but he wanted to give the fans their money's worth. Don't know if that was a real strategy, or some rationalization for the fight being tougher than he anticipated I had a really bad Buster Douglas premonition yesterday about this fight. I knew it was going to be a tough fight, but I also read that Mayweather got more money than any other fight for this one. I feared the fix.
  3. Yes. I'm all in on that idea. I wasn't at first, but the Bears have to come out of Friday with a top 4 DT and safety. Whether they go Pryor/Dix or Donald/Hageman in the 1st, they are going to need to get either Nix/Hageman/Tuitt/Easley or Ward/Bucannon in the 2nd. I'm really leaning towards S in the 1st, because a DT is more likely to fall. Not sure how much the Bears would have to trade up though and what it would cost.
  4. I really want to see the Clippers win the title. Nothing to do with the [expletive] they've been dealing with, but it would be an amazing feat to get by Golden State, OKC, SA, and then Miami. There hasn't been a tougher road to the title in sports history. Man the West was sick this year. Hell, OKC may have to get thru Memphis, LAC, SA, and Miami which is almost as tough. Golden State and Houston are out of the West playoffs already and both could coast to the East finals.
  5. Because his wife is really hot?
  6. Hey guys, Daytona is in a rain delay.
  7. Chargers select Marcus Smith, DE/OLB, Louisville.
  8. Started a new job today. Sorry for the delay. Cardinals take Tuitt.
  9. Bucannon. Id love to double down on DT but not 2 undersized DTS. Tuitt would be tough to pass on if I thought he could handle DT full time, but idk. I think the names after Tuitt on that list may be there in the 3rd.
  10. Johnson walked 8 in just 75 pitches according to MILB. Only 26 strikes. O don't know what's more impressive.....8 Bbs in 75 pitches or 12 outs in 26 pitches (strikes).
  11. Steelers select Donte Moncrief, WR Ole Miss.
  12. 5 for 7 for Alcantara today.
  13. I think its Suh + 10 to move up. Probably all though. No 2nd round pick or future 1s.
  14. How u gonna be racist toward Magic Johnson in [expletive] Los Angeles. Sterling is done. Finally. His team has a black head coach and a black player that is head of the NBPA. Need to kick this bastard out for good now. I know the Clippers are getting a lot of pressure to boycott and not play until Sterling is removed. But I don't think that's the best idea. People are citing what Jim Brown or Ali would do. But this isn't the 60s anymore. Public displays arent necessary any more.
  15. Baez 0-6 thru 11 innings. Oh and Almora is missing his 2nd straight game. So that's fun.
  16. How does that happen when their team puts up 9 runs?
  17. A lot of those aren't actual "visits" from what I understand. Ealy was taken out to dinner before the Mizzou pro day. Jean Baptiste, I've only been able to confirm a senior bowl interview. The Bears went to Florida for Easley. Pretty sure he didn't go to Chicago. Hageman did visit last week also, I believe. Jean-Louis from BC is a LB not a CB. Also, McClellin wasn't much of a reach. I believe he was ranked like 23 by NFLdraftscout.com. He went 20. He was just a horrible fit. If I had to guess based on Emery's draft tendecies the last 2 years....I'd guess: Hageman at 14 (somewhat of a reach, size/athleticism combo, scheme versatile, very raw). In the 2nd, I'd guess he'd trade up for Bucannon once Jimmie Ward comes off the board if he has to (or vice versa). Probably no more than 6-8 spot move and giving up a 4th or 5th. Then the next 2 rounds, I'd think he'd look at CB and/or for more of a 3-tech DT that might be falling (Quarles, Sutton, Easley all have reasons they could fall to the 3rd/4th). Then a RB and either a 2nd S or a LB to develop late. Also, I'm fully expecting the last pick to be used on Colt Lyerla. Similar to the Wilson pick last year. Top 50 talent that quit his team, off field concerns, but he has a Kyle Long connection.
  18. Well, I'll shut up. Still, Crosby and Malkin have had a tendency to not score when the Pens have been eliminated in a series. Of course, you can probably say that about any star players.
  19. Playoff Crosby and Malkin are happy people aren't paying attention to their [expletive]. Crosby career 1.4 ppg, barely over 1.1 the last 3 years in the playoffs and -9 over that time. 0 goals this series. Malkin's playoff scoring numbers aren't that far off from his career regular season numbers, but he's a perennial top 10 goal scorer in the league and only has 7 goals in his last 25 playoff games.
  20. Chargers select Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech.
  21. Brady and Rodgers have never started a game against each other?
  22. 4 straight primetime games in Green Bay. And I believe the 09 opener was in GB on SNF when Urlacher broke his wrist.
