  1. @ESPNChiBears: Ferguson said multiple times on his conference call the Bears want him to play 2 technique, which is nose-to-nose with the offensive guard." Odd thing here is the Bears don't play a 2-tech. At least they hadn't in years.
  2. McClellin was ranked 23 that year by CBS Sportsline. He went 19. Not a reach just a stretch to fit in scheme.
  3. Ego reminds me of Tank Johnson. Like a lot. Seems like a meh player to me.
  4. I love Fuller, but it would have been hard to pass up Pryor because you had to know none of the top 4 safeties would make it to 51. But can't blame Emery for taking what he had as the better talent. And you should take BPA rather than anticipating who's going to be there a round later. FYI, I called Fuller on my blog. See Sig.
  5. The [expletive] ump wouldn't let him walk a guy he was trying to walk.
  6. Chargers select Justin Ellis, DT LA Tech.
  7. I fully support the Lions trading multiple draft picks to get Sammy Watkins.
  8. Actually Brooks is gone. Pick again. Turner is on the board still.
  9. I wasn't that high on healthy Colvin. I like the other CBs mentioned better at this point.
  10. Really bad defensively despite the ability to put 3 strong defensive players on the floor at the same time. Westbrook could be a great defender too if he was coached well.
  11. Desir went top of the page. Id go Roberson, but wouldn't complain about Ellington or Turner. Really wanted Tripp to fall one more pick.
  12. Im a Hageman fan. He's the defensive version of Kyle Long. But at this point, it would have to be in a trade down. And I think he's the one that could fall to the 2nd, and if not at 51, at a reasonable position where the Bears can trade up.
  13. The Emery 6? In no order. ..... HaHa Clinton Dix Calvin Pryor Rashede Hageman Kyle Fuller Louis Nix Anthony Barr All had visits and/or private workouts.
  14. I love Ellington. Not sure why I couldn't put him in my top 15. Probably should have had him 14 at worst. But part of the reason is I really like Ellington as a 3rd down RB. Hes the same size as his cousin Andre who will be the Cards feature back this year. He's tough enough to run and take contact. I think he can pass block. I think he's a Randall Cobb type player but more of the RB version of him instead of a WR. Not that he won't be a good WR.
  15. Penguins fans told me this morning they were actively rooting against the Blackhawks this weekend because "they are making the Pens look bad by winning so easily".
  16. http://www.mr-irrelevantpgh-chi.blogspot.com/?m=1 I'mm really not a Seantrel Henderson fan. More concerning than the chronic chronic smoking (supposedly failed several tests at Miami, hence several random suspensions) is the fact that he doesn't play football very well. Never was able to lock down either OT position at Miami long term. He's worth a UDFA deal because he was the #1 HS recruit, but I wouldn't draft him. Fyi, my position rankings are up on my blog.
  17. You know who would make a good FS? An ACTUAL FS. Im a huge Fuller fan, but im drafting him in the first round because he's one of the top 2 CBs in this draft. That being said, if they can pull off an elaborate way to play him at FS and nickel, then I'm.all for it. Really good player.
  18. They are 29-10-5 at home, including 3-0 in the 1st round.
  19. That's amazing. How is that even possible? DYNASTY!
  20. Hope to not see the Madhouse again til Game 1 vs L.A..
  21. Hossa has been amazing for the playoffs so far.
