    I really hate what MLBN and NFLN have become. They both started out as good, informative channels with more than just the highlights of popular teams/players, but they've both become ESPN lite.

    Actually it makes perfect sense to use up a 40 man spot on a filler until the time when you actually need to put guys on the 40-man or risk losing them. Yeah, I know. I'm just pissed, and I don't really want to have to watch Valaika play baseball. Of course, I haven't watched a game in weeks so....

    Seriously, it makes no sense to take up a 40-man spot with a guy that isn't going to be in a 40-man spot in 2 months. Give it to Baez or callup [expletive] Watkins.

    I think this could be a really fun team to watch. 1 QB this year, and Sudfeld should lead the conference in passing. He will be throwing to some fast undersized targets instead of the big boys like year's past. Coleman is back at RB, after 6ypc last year. OL is 100% back, with 2 NFL prospects. Best LB and DL is back. Bring back a CB that led the league is passes defensed and a solid 4-year starter at FS.

    Ha! JD Drew was a helluva player in his prime. 4-5 win player and a good defender. And this is what we could expect out of the Cubs' 8th or 9th best prospect?

    If Johnson makes it thru August healthy, he'll hit 100 IP this year (104 if he has 6 starts 33+ IP like he did in July). He had 118 last year. I think Pineyro is a much better candidate. Plus, if Johnson is still having control issues, I think rest would be better.

    Who you guys drafting early? I'll have the 3rd pick in my draft. I'm assuming Charles and McCoy go 1st 2 picks. Do you go Forte due to it being PPR or Peterson due to him being an absolute beast?

    Good lord. The Giants and Titans aren't even close to us, and I for one don't think Atlanta rebounds into the playoffs. Still the 3rd best team in their division by a decent margin. Atlanta probably has the most talented roster in the South. I don't think Carolina is going to have a repeat of double digit wins. Tampa has a ton of talent, but does Lovie take them to double digit wins that fast? I think Atlanta finishes 1 or 2 in the South, with anywhere from 9-11 wins. They are just a year removed from a 1st round bye in the NFC.

    The rankings of Tseng, Vogelbach, Amaya, Clifton, and Jokisch all seem pretty dumb to me. I'm just going to assume for Amaya, he meant a completely different player and his typo caused him to write that scouting report for Amaya.

    Yeah, but Butler has to be on the floor all the time now, because there's nobody else.

    Eh. I don't think there's any 2-3 the Bulls can get with Taj as the primary piece that will be enough of an upgrade at 2/3 to take the downgrade at 4/5.

    A viral infection that knocks you out for a week is probably going to have some carry over into the rest of camp. And as a raw 2nd year guy who already missed time prior to last season it can't be helpful to have him this banged up. Yeah, I imagine he'll practice by the end of this week. He's getting evaluated today, with an off day tomorrow, I'm guessing he'll be eased into position drills Wed/Thurs and then practicing in team drills next week. Don't imagine he'll get into the preseason til Week 2 or 3, as it will take him a couple weeks to add some weight/strength lost. But I don't think it's a big concern. He'll get his reps in practice and he was well involved in the offseason. He was in Miami with Marshall, Cutler and crew. He was at OTAs. He's been very close to the action on the field in the 3 practices so far. Hell, he even helped coach rookies at rookie camp. Not all that concerned unless he goes into next week not on the field.

    Yeah, there's been a good bit of talk about the Bulls being the 3rd team the Love-Wiggins swap. If that trade went down (Dunleavy/Wiggins/Bennett/2 1sts to MIN / Love to CLE/ Martin to CHI).... Rose / Kyrie Martin / Waiters Butler / LeBron Gasol / Love Noah / Varejao Looks scary, though Kyrie, Waiters and Love are all abysmal defenders. CLE will also have to run that unit into the ground because...... Brooks / Lucas III Snell / Delladvedova McDermott / Mike Miller Mirotic / Thompson Taj / Haywood The Bulls bench has the potential to be the best in the league. What do you even say about the Cavs reserves? I'd gladly take Kevin Martin for Dunleavy and picks. I didn't realize he was 6'7", but he's a scoring SG, who would add some much needed ability to create his own shot and a decent outside shot. Plus, getting rid of Dunleavy would presumably open up some time for McDermott and Mirotic, which I think is important even on a contender. That being said, Thibs will probably play Hinrich 35 minutes at the 2, with Martin/Butler at the 3.

    Love their LBs. Maybe the best trio in the nation. Their back 4 should be better with experience and fresh blood. Offense should be scary if Marshall improved at all.

    It's 16 PAs... 15 of them unsuccessful. Nobody's ever recovered from a slump like that. I checked. Time to cut him. Geez. I was just messing around.
