  1. Hopefully this is only a temporary step to getting full ABS in the near future.
  2. Meh. On one hand, it's closer to where I live, and MUCH closer than Arlington Heights. On the other hand, I've never been to a Bears game in person, so what do I care? But I guess if Hammond is able to draw concerts and other big events, that could be nice.
  3. The USA mens curling team sucks. Bring back John Shuster.
  4. This is really tough for KB. https://www.mlb.com/news/kris-bryant-discusses-back-injury-at-rockies-spring-training It really doesn't sound like there is any hope of him playing again, and who knows where he is at mentally.
  5. I'm right there with you. I think largely it is the fact that the Summer Olympics are so track and field based, and I just don't get excited about watching people run around a track. Now, skating around a track at high speed with the constant risk of wiping out and crashing into the wall, I'm in for that! And then there is curling, which the Summer Olympics has no answer for.
  6. That's the problem. You can't expect to get by with a 6 man rotation against a quality opponent. I get they are missing multiple starters, but Underwood has to put "someone" else in the game off the bench to give his starters at least a bit of a rest.
  7. Kicking the extra point there was stupid.
  8. I think my Under 52.5 may be safe.
  9. This Super Bowl sucks just as much as I expected it to.
  10. Illinois is the better team and had plenty of chances. They didn't make enough shots, gave up way to many offensive rebounds, and were still right there. With that said, the phantom foul call on Fear was a huge turning point. As expected, the refs definitely gave MSU some calls that they weren't giving Illinois on the other end.
  11. Nothing. Good teams don't care about 2nd round picks.
  12. No horsefeathers way they traded Ayo and didn't get any first round picks.
  13. It's kind of hilarious the Bulls are playing in Toronto tomorrow night. Are they going to be able to get enough players there for the game?
  14. They will probably still make the play in game and pick right in the same position they normally do. There is money to spend in free agency, but nobody worth spending it on will actually come here. I'm glad AK finally did "something," but I'm not confident that they have made and progress toward escaping NBA hell.
  15. 2031 2nd round picks have about as much value as a certificate for name-a-star registration.
  16. Supposedly teams weren't willing to part with a first round pick for Coby, but maybe Coby plus one of the Bulls newly acquired early second rounders can get someone to move a mid to late 1st round pick now?
  17. Trade Coby for whatever you can get. Keep Ayo and re-sign him.
  18. Taller, better shooter, more athletic. Deron Williams was much stronger and a better defender, but Wagler is only 18. Deron was more of a finished product by the time he went to the NBA. I still think Deron Williams was more of a sure bet to be a good NBA player, but Wagler has potential to be great.
  19. Comparing him to every other lottery pick I have seen come through Illinois over the last 20+ years, his ceiling is higher than any of them.
  20. That is stupid. They shouldn't have let him go then. He's basically still an assistant GM but with a GM title.
  21. Yeah, I don't see yesterday's game as a negative for Purdue at all. They shot 57% from the field, 82% from the free throw line, and had 3 total turnovers. I would bet those numbers are good enough to win 90+ percent of the time. They just ran into an Illinois team that played a slightly better game, moved the ball very well, and shot incredibly from behind the arc.
  22. He is always calm and under control, a stone cold killer who shows very little emotion while he is making huge shots. He is more than just a lottery pick. For me, he's a Top 5 pick. Find me 5 better NBA prospects in all of college basketball.
  23. No way. Damn, that sucks.
  24. I agree with Corey Patterson and Dillon Maples. A few older ones on my list though would be Ty Griffin and Ced Landrum. I remember as a young kid thinking Ty Griffin was going to be a superstar, based on nothing more than his Topps #1 Draft Pick baseball card. Ced Landrum was like the poor man's Vince Coleman. Small, speedy guy with no power, but he could run!
