Nice. That was hilarious. -
Delay for recalibration.
-
Neifi. You go back and look, and the defensive metrics really did like him and his WAR says he may not have been as bad as we thought. How about Lillibridge or Jose Macias? Dare.
-
At least it didn't even take one whole game to find a new Cubs player who is universally hated.
-
Tough decision here. Do you walk the pitcher to get to the pitcher?
-
Maybe we should just be satisfied that they don't take away any of our runs.
-
Wow, that ball really carried.
-
"Didn't hav'ta be" What exactly does that mean?
-
It may be cold, but I wish I was in Pittsburgh right now. I love that stadium.
-
I hate to hear people suggest that the NL will eventually have a DH. A part of the baseball fan in me will certainly die if that happens...
-
Sure looked like it. I bet Lillibridge knew how many outs there were.
-
Great, Lillibridge has a noodle arm too.
-
Maybe, but his ears are at least 30.
-
Because it's not. 5 through 9 on the other hand...

Something about it looks different to me, too. I could swear it wasn't that wide before. Yeah, it does look wider to me too. On a related note, there was no stance I loved imitating more as a kid than Jerome Walton's.

I still can't believe Nate Schierholz is hitting 5th in a Major League lineup.

Rizzo!!!

Sporting News is reporting that Minnesota may pursue Shaka Smart. If he turned down Illinois, what would possibly make Smart want to go to a lesser program in Minnesota?
-
it was pretty obvious Yet you're the only person on here who saw it, and nobody on TNT saw it either. He must have access to the "All-22".
-
Putting the disappointment of tonight's loss aside, this was still a very good season for Illinois. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Groce, but he has proven that he can be a successful coach in a major conference. The future looks bright, especially if he can continue to recruit classes like the one coming in 2013. Losing Paul is going to hurt and next year's team may take a slight step back, but I am confident that good things are ahead in 2014 and beyond.

Brandon Paul?
-
Dammit, that game was there for the taking. It all turned with the bad 3-point attempt with a 2 point lead coming out of a timeout.
-
D.J. is 1-11 from the field, 1-10 from 3.
-
Why is that not reviewable?
-
Brandon Paul is a man on a mission... shades of last year's Ohio St. game. Finish them!
