  1. I don't suppose any of these leagues are broadcast online or anywhere else?
  2. What I wonder (and I'm sure the Cubs have this information) is what percentage of entries on the Season Ticket waiting list actually buy tickets when they are called? I would guess it is only a small percentage who do buy them. Some people have probably lost interest, others have moved away, others can't afford them, others were never serious in the first place, others were duplicate entries, etc. I would be really interested to know the actual percentage though.
  3. http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/story/19918446/2012/10/25/mark-grace-indicted-on-dui-charges?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Grace was one of my all time favorite players, but he clearly has some serious problems. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I enjoyed listening to him on the Arizona broadcasts. He is very lucky he hasn't hurt anyone and I hope he can turn his life around.
  4. The only thing I'm afraid of is if we don't get the call in the next couple years we might reach a point again where the team is on the upswing and nobody is giving up their seats. Obviously that is a good problem to have, but I just want to make it to the front of the line before it happens!
  5. Good guess. I am 14,802 now. Just checked and I am now at 10,019. At this rate I guess my number may be called in 2-3 years. Better start saving! Yikes. Just checked and I'm at 4,029 now. Damn, nice jump! I'm up to 8,105 so the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer.
  6. Pretty cool display with all the Stand Up To Cancer signs.
  7. Wow, 3 home runs for Sandoval and we're only in the 5th inning.
  8. Gotta love McCarver with the "Barry Manilow" comment. I don't think he has recovered enough to speak yet.
  9. I predict Dave Martinez will get this job.
  10. My favorite Gruden comment was that Detroit likes to "compartmentalize their lions". I pictured Voltron assembling for the onside kick.
  11. Now that is some hard hitting analysis.
  12. Forget the Gatorade. The Giants should dumb diamond dry over Bochy.
  13. Holy hell is it raining in San Francisco. I have never seen baseball played in these conditions.
  14. I thought so too. Great D series. CJ had no chance of catching it, Tilman was in position to make the INT, their feet didn't get tangled up, Calvin just barreled into Peanut, knocking him over. Why wasn't it OPI? Because Johnson was running his route and trying to get to the ball.
  15. It has probably been his best game, but nothing I have seen from him is great news.
  16. Uhhh.. What the hell Hester?
  17. They have them right where they want them.
  18. Good job. Killed a lot of time and pin them deep.
  19. Power rankings can eat a fat one. Just win. Agreed. I don't care what the national TV audience thinks.
  20. Nothing but runs here. If Cutler doesn't have the arm strength, they can't risk him underthrowing one here for a pick-6.
  21. That was the ultimate bend right there.
