I have never been the biggest Soriano fan, but I just don't see the need to trade him at this point. He is still a productive player and it is pretty clear that nobody is going to offer much value for him. The Cubs have plenty of money to spend and don't have any young LF prospects who are being blocked, so the value that Soriano can provide on the field is likely higher than what they could ever get in a trade. If he has another good season, maybe someone will sweeten the pot at the trade deadline, but if not the Cubs might as well pencil him in the lineup for at least 1 more year. As bad as this team is currently, I can't imagine how much worse they would be without Soriano's offensive production (and even his defense) in LF.
