    It probably isn't really the case, but it sure seems like the Cubs defensive positioning is routinely worse than the opposition. While the Cubs hit balls directly into the shift, their opponents roll ground balls through holes that shouldn't be holes.

    I know that it is an overaction for a 13th pitcher, but I don't like this. Maples had walked some guys, but has been unhittable. It is pretty clear Maddon doesn't trust him at all.
