Uh he got hurt when Maddon went against the plan. They had no damn clue when he got hurt. Theo speculated. He was a ticking time bomb from the start. It was just a matter of when, not if, he would get injured.

What did you want him to do? This team has had one injury after another. Even as important as every game is now, the Cubs can't afford to overextend Darvish and lose him for the rest of the season. It sucks, but they just have to try to keep guys in one piece to get through the season.
