Chris Martin is bad. -
Wisdom looks great so far. I still think the most realistic scenario for Schwindel is that he is a serviceable placeholder until the Cubs can find a lefty power bat to fill that spot.
-
Keegan has been great in this long relief role, but do we expect he'll end up back in the rotation at some point? I think I would rather have him in these semi high leverage piggyback spots a couple times a week.

Smallish sample size, but Hermosillo has not shown anything offensively or defensively.

Plus there is always the small risk of losing the DH in the event of injury when your only backup catcher is the DH. It's probably not something a team wants to get into the habit of doing on a regular basis.

Is it just me, or was that really odd for Marquee to broadcast the black national anthem and then cut to commercial before the actual national anthem?

Make that 7/37. Under 19%. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

Give the guy some credit. He hit the ball out of the infield. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

Hindsight 20/20 and all, but Hoerner should have scored on Villar's single. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

That sucks for Rivas. He is a better lineup option than several other guys on the current roster. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

Having both him and Madrigal in a lineup seems not ideal. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk -

If he even slides straight into first there he's safe, but he launched himself into the air. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

They're up 7 runs, Steele was under 70 pitches, and 7-8-9 is due up, I think we can be okay with him going out there It's just an unnecessary risk to a guy who hasn't pitched much this spring. It worked out, but it's early to be stretching guys out. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

David Ross at his finest. Always has to keep the pitcher in just a bit too long. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
