  1. I don't know why anyone 'likes' anything on Twitter. If I like something enough to signal I like it, I'll retweet it. If I don't like it enough to retweet it, or don't want people seeing that I like it, then I shouldn't be clicking the button anyway. My likes were essentially my bookmarks for a while, until they actually introduced the concept of bookmarks. But that's still a little clunky, so I use a combination of both. Not super worried about my 6 followers. When you have a large Twitter presence (as Chris Myers does), I assume you know exactly what you're doing. Most of my likes have been accidental, for what that's worth.
  2. If Len was that bothered by the 3-man booth, I imagine he would have brought up with management. He doesn't seem like the type who would just take his ball and go home over a single issue like that. I'm sure they have some sort of employee evaluation / end of year meeting where he could have raised his concerns. At that point, a good employer would take those concerns into consideration, especially if they are interested in retaining their talent. On the other hand, if Len voiced concerns along those lines and didn't get the response he was looking for, he has every right to look elsewhere for an opportunity where he can feel more respected and supported. Whether or not any of these two particular issues actually came into play, I think they were only symptoms of larger problems related to the overall culture of Marquee and Sinclair. Do they really want someone who has strong opinions and can think for himself?
  3. I have Marquee, but I may very well just use the MLB.tv Roku app this year with the radio feed for audio.
  4. This is so disappointing, and Chris Myers... ugh. I don't even know what to say. No way the Cubs should have let this happen. Seriously, how long before JD is pushed out and it is Myers and Dempster?
  5. Why would Schwarber agree to that though? He might as well at least test the market before taking a cut.
  6. Nothing has been confirmed. I imagine the Cubs are working up to the deadline, trying to find a trade partner.
  7. Now that Wrigley Field has received landmark status, I have an idea. Let's build another, modern-looking, structure inside the outer walls of the stadium. Something that looks... I don't know... like a spaceship?
  8. That was full on Monte Burns pinch hitting Homer for Strawberry Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

  10. Holy horsefeathers. That is one of the best baseball games I have ever seen. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  11. This game is amazing. Watching real offenses is fun. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  12. I think that has more to do with the re-aired game broadcasts.
  13. Hall of Famers are dropping like flies. Hang in there Willie. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  14. I feel kinda bad for the guy. I probably shouldn't, because he isn't a great manager and he has done fairly well for himself overall, but it has to get frustrating. Every time he almost gets to the top of the ladder someone knocks him off and says "Go climb that other ladder now."
  15. Of course Brandon Kintzler would strike out the side. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. All day long. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  17. Not again. horsefeathers that call. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  18. What can Theo possibly say in his year end press conference this time? The only thing left is to blame Covid for no offense. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  19. Good news, Kimbrel is fixed just in time for the off-season. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah, at this point I just want to see 9 replacement level guys in the lineup who aren't any of the current Cubs players. Seriously, get rid of everyone. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  21. Just like the guy in Baseball Simulator who you give 99 speed to. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  22. Hopefully Darvish can go 11 innings, because I have a feeling we're going to break through on the bottom of the 11th! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  23. I have no confidence that any of these Cubs hitters can get a run in. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  24. What an awful, awful send. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
