    The inability of this team to find a backup catcher who isn't an automatic out has gone beyond comical at this point. I have never seen anything like it.

    This basically summed it up for me but don't forget the 8 pickoff throws while Hiura, the 500 OPS monster, was at the plate. Just horsefeathering focus on the [expletive] hitter, not Jace horsefeathering Peterson.The thing is, there were probably 2-3 of those throws that could have picked the runner off if Tepera had even a mediocre move to first.

    God bless MLB.TV's "switch to audio feed" option. Does it actually work now? Last time I tried it, the audio was way out of sync.

    We dodged a huge bullet with Chris Myers not getting the announcer job. There is no way I could have listened to this guy every night. He is so much worse than I even thought he could be.

    Is Strat-o-matic actually a thing that people are still doing? I have been playing Out of the Park Baseball for almost 20 years now, but I didn't realize Strat-o-matic was still around in any notable form.

    Just saw the highlights, and I expected worse after reading the comments here. I didn't think it was a terrible send given the circumstances. The chances of the Mets making an inaccurate throw to the plate were probably greater than the chances of Heyward getting the runner home from third.
