    Me neither. The multiple colors threw me off, I always thought it looked like elb, but that doesn't make any sense. I thought the same thing for the longest time. I knew it was supposed to be an M, but I refused to believe it. I hated that logo.

    Hi all. My girlfriend and I are planning on flying to Mesa for a few days to catch some Spring Training. I know several of you have gone and I was hoping to get some pointers as far as what hotels are close to the action, fairly priced, and not rat-infested (or worse), what car rental companies offer the best deals, and where to be at what times to make the most out of the trip since both of us are going into this blindly. All information is much appreciated!

    The no decision vs. Carpenter last season. He also shut them down in the game that Nomar got hurt. He was an out away from the complete game when Dusty pulled him to put Hawkins in. I think Z had a triple in that game as well due to Jimmy Maybeline taking a terrible route to a ball. Was that a terrible route or the ball that went straight(pun) under his glove while he was hotdogging?

    I hate how the rest of the baseball world sees Prior as injury prone. That is simply a lie and infuriates me. He's been injured ONCE that wasn't a freak accident. That sure screams injury prone to me.... please.

    I heard on ESPN or the Score (not sure which, I was ordering at a drive through at the time) during an update that Larry Walker may come out of retirement because he has apparently healed from injury faster than he had anticipated. Allegedly he'll only sign with an AL team to DH as not to trigger past injuries. Anyone else hear this?

    pwn'd What's so hard to understand about him closing up the hole in his swing?He's always been a good hitter, but pitchers would consistantly attack his weakness. He addressed that weakness and corrected it. Until pitchers/scouts find another weakness I see no reason for his numbers to return to his previous averages.

    Prior for Miguel Cabrera. or Prior for Pujols. or Prior for Santana. Those are about the only 3 trades I'd consider.

    What's funny is over at the orioles message board (orioles.com) they're saying Prior for Tejada straight up isn't enough. They see Prior as a #3 starter with a history of health problems. Granted this makes them [expletive], but whatever. They think that if they're giving up Tejada we'd need to sweeten the pot by offering Prior, Pie, and Hill. And don't even think of bringing Bedard into it. Let's hope the Orioles front office sees it the same way and Hendry picks up his things and leaves. Keep Prior!

    What do you think of the Pontoon signing? I think it's pretty PHAT. Pretty Hot and Tempting eh? I might go as far as mouth watering! Seriously though, it isn't a bad pickup, as long as Reyes gets a chance to play. Do they try to deal Marquis so that they aren't SO TAGUCHI (oh man that was gold, gold!) in the outfield?[/img] More Taguchi than any other team in the league.
