  1. I hate this system, there has to be a better way.
  2. They said party room, yeah. But the color code matched up with the seats right behind the dugout, as did the price. For 110 bucks a ticket, I damn well better be right by the dugout! What was your method for getting in?
  3. What seats?!? That's a lot! And how'd you get in? I'm still sitting with nothing.
  4. Wow, this virtual waiting room is just like real waiting! 10 Windows open on 2 computers and nothing yet.
  5. You have to right click exactly as the timer reaches zero. Timing is everything.
  6. Wait until the timer reaches zero, then right click, click properties. Copy the address and paste it into a new window. Then File>New Window works to open as many as you want. I'm praying for the 4/22 game.
  7. I'm hoping to get tickets to the 4/22 game. If not I'll take any Cubs game I can get.
  8. So are the new batting helmets permanent or just a ST thing?
  9. Thanks for the heads up, I haven't heard anything about him this offseason. So Weeks is worth keeping?
  10. I was offered Brian Roberts for Rickie Weeks straight up... This sounds too good to be true. I have Rickie Weeks, of course.
  11. Phoenix is literally a stone's throw away from Mesa, so I don't see travel wearing on them at all.
  12. *fires up DV-R* I'm really excited to see team Japan, and specifically Daisuke Matsuzuka.
  13. It's easy... Haven't you seen the Zac Barker (drummer for Blink 182) commercial where he is all swole. :) Am I wrong, or isn't it Travis Barker? It is.
  14. I was actually hoping to get tickets to that game. If they're still available, PM me with details. I'll promise never to bring up the A.D. words.
  15. Not necessarily. The Cubs would have a good chance to win the division but the only team that has a chance to 'run away' with the division in 2006 is the Cardinals. Look at their resume -they won the division last year -they have a 1-2 starting punch that is as good as any in the league with Carpenter and Mulder -they have a solid closer with Isringhausen -Scott Rolen only played 56 games last year, and stunk it up when he was playing -they still have Pujols and Edmonds as well I'm not saying the Cardinals will win the division, and I do think the Cubs have a chance. But there is no way that the Cubs run away with the NL Central in 2006 -They did win the division last year, that doesn't mean much unless you're from Atlanta -There's at least 6 1-2 punches I'd take over StL's -Izzy is getting old and is on his way out, that's why they signed Looper as an insurance policy -Rolen isn't the same player he once was. Maybe he'll turn it around, but Wood has as good a chance to return to his prime as does Rolen -Pujols I'll give you, but Edmonds is a shell of the player he used to be. Look at his dwindling numbers the past 3 years. I'd expect that trend to continue
  16. I don't really know much about pitch grips, but it could be some form of circle change? Yes. Circle change. I'm no expert, but no circle change grip I've ever seen looks anything like that. In fact, in all the circle change grips I've ever used or seen, the pinky is actually hugging one side of the ball. On further review, I suppose his ring finger could be fulfilling the function that the pinky usually does, but I don't see his forefinger where it ought to be. If I had to guess, I would bet that that's a slider, since he's gripping the outer third of the ball. But as I said, I am definitely not an expert - I just tool around with the stuff cause I love it. In fact, if anyone has some useful tips, throw 'em my way. That's what I thought. I thought a circle change was making a circle with your index finger and thumb. At least that's the change I threw (whether it be a circle or otherwise).
  17. http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060226/capt.31d466eb2d49499382f66fcf3b5d66c2.cubs_spring_training_baseball__aznh104.jpg Is he throwing a knuckler? His pinky's nowhere near the ball.
  18. Yes he has. He was great in the booth during the bottom too.
  19. Real Cub fans wear shorts to every game no matter what the temperature is. Maybe that's why those $80 Cubs blankets sell so well in the gift shop. *MBNA credit card applicant free blankets.
  20. So do they just not wear high socks in ST? Neither Prior nor Walker were wearing them, and they usually do. It better not be a new thing this year to do away with them altogether.
  21. The best part of that was his reaction to getting ejected from the game. He just kind of threw up his hand and said "nah." He knew it was worth it.
  22. Eew, he's a Mac user...
  23. I boycott this team if this trade goes down.
  24. I want the home opener so badly. I'll take any pair of tickets I can get. Sadly I'll be on tour Friday morning so I won't be able to go online and get them myself. I'm leaving the woman up to the huge task of getting tickets. *crosses fingers*
  25. For once I'm completely agreeing with you.
