I know he's played through pain before (plantar facilitis), but playing with a sore back can lead to serious problems. I hope the training staff is monitoring him closely, because you don't want him messing himself up permanently. -
I'm pretty sure this thread would've been made regardless of who made the baserunning blunder of the year. This play was flat out comical, no matter who it was. It just makes it funnier that it's Corey.

It isn't like he got absolutely shelled, he just had some control problems. Luckily he was missing out of the zone as opposed to over the plate. I think you can attribute his bad outings to big league jitters, and they'll go away. He's shown flashes of awesome stuff, and I think he can deliver, just give him time to grow into his role. -
I saw this bit on ESPN, that's totally awesome. Hopefully he can get some more heat on his fastball and possibly make it in the bigs. (he throws 85-87 RH and 80-84 LH)

i'm not watching, but it sounded like he wouldn't have made it. Probably would have been a triple play had he tagged. In other news: Jacque Jones sucks at many facets of the game.
