  1. I would think Perry or Rodgers would be victim of this add rather than Carey. I'm not a Jaquizz fan, however.
  2. gabriel and the traditional guys seem to like Hall, which, of course, PFF seems not to gabriel comared hall to peanut Both Bush and Hall seem to be able to strip the ball pretty well.
  3. Definitely behind Freeman, Trevathan, Jones and Acho on the depth chart. Would have liked to see something at RB or TE there. Adams was just sitting there and he's ranked as the #2 TE on the board. Even a DB might have made more sense. Yea I like Adams too but this is the point of the draft I'm also going to basically trust them on BPA as long as us not a kicker, punter, or longsnapper. Kwiatkowski seems to be a good value pick since he was ranked #85 on PFF.
  4. No idea. Know nothing about this picky either. Hopefully he can play special teams because short of injuries that's the only way he'll contribute in the next 2 years. They obviously liked him a lot. Definitely behind Freeman, Trevathan, Jones and Acho on the depth chart. Would have liked to see something at RB or TE there. Adams was just sitting there and he's ranked as the #2 TE on the board. Even a DB might have made more sense.
  5. And we also got 2 extra picks out of all that LOL Yeah. There seems to be a lot of good value coming up with their 3 4th rounders. If that TE (Adams) keeps sliding, I'd pounce on him with one of those picks.
  6. You don't see either Larsen or Ramirez getting a starting gig ahead of Whitehair?
  7. Final draft board before the draft on PFF had Whitehair ranked 17th, Floyd at 19th and Bullard at 33rd.
  8. Are they comfortable with that Lee character they picked up last year as the back up TE? I'm imagining that they'll just grab a veteran guy that gets cut sometime during the roster reduction process to mix in with Miller otherwise. I'd like to see them take a LT with the next pick if there is a guy that drops or projects when they pick next.
  9. I sense that anyone can start game threads right now and the Cubs will win. Except Derwood.
  10. Cubs should cross the 100 run plateau easily tonight.
  11. I just want all teams that chant Crawford to lose miserably because they chant Crawford at hockey games. And then I want the Blackhawks to announce that they didn't plan on winning until the opposing team fans started chanting Crawford. "That is when we mustered the inspiration to beat the other team into submission."
  12. 3 way chili at Steak n Shake is not a horrible thing. I'll assume it's much better than Skyline.
  13. Damn golf league. Scheduling me to play on an Arrieta start night. Tssk tsk. It ended up being a pretty long night watching both the Blackhawks and Cubs game. Blackhawks live and Cubs on archive. But it was worth every minute. Definitely one of my all time favorite games. Crazy how empty that stadium was last night.
  14. I'm all in on that one. Geez that would be one hell of a late offseason snag.
  15. Rizzo should probably punch Zobrist in the mouth.
  16. This game doesn't suck as much as it did. Don't get rid of anyone yet.
  17. Yeah, this is the first game of the season I missed, but the game thread was a fun read. I did get to watch the first 3 innings, so I just missed out on the only score of the game for the Cubs. It's great that they are still winning games with the bats finding gloves. Gives a lot of comfort for the future when they do start hitting again.
  18. I needed 3 together, and I got 415 9th row for $57 a piece. I googled the view from 415 and it looked good enough for me. Thanks again!
  19. I think at that point in the game, you throw out your challenge if it's anywhere close. You have nothing to lose. Maybe that's what it was. The offside didn't really impact the play. After they got the puck across the blue line, the play went back behind the net before the score happened. But, I'm happy that the Hawks recognized the potential that they were offside and asked for a review.
  20. I see the Reds pitching staff gave up 14 runs to the Cardinals. How long does it take for their pitching staff to recover from facing the Cubs?
  21. I'm impressed that Chicago caught the offsides at all. It took way longer for the officials to determine it was offsides than it took for someone on the Hawks to see it. On top of that, the offside really had no impact on how the Blues scored that goal, but hey, rules are rules. And the Shaw goal wasn't just clean, it was awesome!
