  1. No need to let Lugo leave town, give a KC their choice of a few lottery tickets.
  2. I wouldn't say hammered, got an error by Crawford on a decently routine GB, then a HBP, then their specialties - seeing eye GB's. I don't care what the Brewers fans here say, that kind of nonsense is not sustainable and there's a regression coming.
  3. Despite what happens today, I believe the Cubs will pick up the game lost today over this weekend. Tucker and Seiya will start to heat up, to coincide with the up coming Brewers series.
  4. Me to, he was signed to be a long guy in the bullpen, definitely needs to be there soon. Think he'll have to make one more start, wouldn't be surprising if he's solid again in a Cubs' win.
  5. This game is OVER, as helpful as Rea has been, I'd still like to see him replaced when Tallion comes back and after Jed makes a deal.
  6. While he had an excellent at bat in last night' game leading to run, for the most part, of late, he's been terrible. A couple of days off will probably help.
  7. As stated above I don't think you trade Cassie for a rental. Ryan or Cabrera? I could get on board. Not Alcantara, I still believe that deal could get done without Cassie or Wiggins.
  8. You're probably correct about Happ being traded, I fully agree about Suzuki as well. I was just thinking if there's a way to avoid the massive early struggles when seen from PCA and Shaw hence, the phasing in of Cassie.
  9. To be safe they should shut him down for the rest of the season, just to be safe.
  10. Sign Tucker, go with Happ to start 2026, if he does his start the season in a slump thing, phase Cassie in, with the intent to make him the permanent LFer.
  11. Yeah, losing two to the Pirates who had just been swept by the White Sox.
  12. Dodgers will probably get it together and coast to the NL West title. But, boy, do they look bad right now.
  13. You didn’t read the aggrandizing Brewers article on the front page?
  14. Maybe, just maybe, he’s not good? But, it’s the Brewers and they’re soooooooo superior to the Cubs
  15. Superman done for the Brewers tonight, no score, Mariners have a chance. Gilbert has been completely dominating the Brewers.
  16. Pure garbage, pitch in literally the same location was a strike several times for Hill.
  17. Glad they were able to steal another run there, you could see that Dansby K coming from a million miles away.
  18. I have to think the Ben Brown as a starter experience or experiment is over.
  19. Let’s see what a slumping Tucker and Seiya can do, I’d like to be optimistic. But they’ve both been terrible of late. I find truly amazing minor leaguers have crushed Hill yet, Seiya’ completely mesmerized.
  20. Add to that, 3-1, 2.02 ERA, 3.15 FIP in the playoffs + WS but, he didn't accomplish that throwing 200 MPH so, I guess it doesn't count.
  21. Most definitely, and, no mention of what a flawed offensive team the Brewers are, sure, right now they look unbeatable. They, like the Cubs, have they're warts and they're going to be exposed over the course of a long season. They've also plenty of arms that, at any moment, could go poof, their bullpen is usage is amongst the highest in baseball. And, I know they're the Brewers and all but, that doesn't make those bullpen arms immune from tiring down the stretch.
  22. Also, 2016 Jon Lester, was really horsefeathers good, 5.6 WAR, 19-5, 2.44 ERA, 3.41 FIP, Freddy Peralta, for example, has not come close to matching those numbers...ever.
  23. Lester is who choose to site? Completely, ignoring the fact that Jake Arrieta was damn near un-hittable in 2015/2016 and certainly a big time ace along the likes of any of the above pitchers?
  24. Me too, will never understand why a first pitch FB was called to someone who was spectacularly terrible that season. I also believe it was well documented that Young was awful on anything with spin or off-speed. So rather than exploit that weakness just go ahead and pitch to Young' strength. My goodness, what a ******-ass Diamondback team that was, true, the Cubs weren't that much better, if at all.
