  1. Mirkovic as well, had no idea he was this good, very Joker-like, similar skills.
  2. Gee, thanks. Really though, now that he's broken the seal, I believe he'll be able to capitalize far more on this than Weber.
  3. Yeah, it's too bad, knew once Arizona took the lead it was probably over. Well, there's a real chance half of FF will be Big Ten teams. Not too shabby.
  4. Like what the Boilers are, thus far, doing, Braden Smith playing at this level is the best guard on the floor. Maybe even the best player on the floor.
  5. Wagler named the South region MOP.
  6. I had more the feeling Iowa was hanging on by a thread, and it was more a matter of time before the Illini caught up and overtook them. Iowa had no margin for error.
  7. Was keeping on eye on MSU-Wisconsin for the Frozen Four, don't know what was wrong with the Spartans. They haven't looked good the last 3 weeks or so. Even had they made it, don't think they would have gone further most especially with Stramel getting injured. So, go Broncos!!!
  8. It's the rebounding stupid. - Just kidding.
  9. Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Illini way too much on the boards for Hawkeyes took a large toll as the game went on. Was shaking with nervous energy the whole horsefeathers game, what an old fool I am. Alright Boilers lets make Indy the Big Ten Invitational!!! Channeling Scary - bring your Boilers home to Indy!
  10. Does it feel like Iowa is hanging on by a thread or is Underwood, in character, crapping the bed?
  11. I know it's nonsense, as Cubs and Bears fan I'm conditioned to expect the worst and hope for the best. This extends to the Illini as well. Want soo badly for Underwood to get over the hump. If he does break the seal, I've a feeling it'll lead to uptick in recruiting and more FF appearances. Much like Jay Wright, took him 8 years to make a FF, then a little struggle, followed by more FF's and a couple of championships.
  12. My head says if the Illini continue with the current play, in addition to holding all the physical advantages, they should have a real chance at cutting down the net in Houston. My heart says it Underwood and the Illini, who, time and again have failed to live up to expectations.
  13. MSU let the game get away in the first half, don't know why Carr kept shooting 3's. There's a reason UConn left him, a 28% shooter, open, come on, Izzo the coaching wizard. And, Teng, who basically can't do anything except spot up 3's or Scott - no plays ran to try can them some looks? Nothing from Mr. Assist, Jeremy Fears, to get these limited players the only thing at which they're effective? The old man was badly out coached.
  14. Would be awesome if the FF in Indianapolis was Big Ten Tournament the sequel.
  15. They appear to be locked in, playing real well, if they continue at this level they've an excellent chance of beating Iowa.
  16. I think MSU is going to take them down. Nevertheless, if the Illini can get there and eventually face UConn, how sweet would it be to take one from of the all time horsefeathers HC's?
  17. There's no UConn monster in their way this time, Underwood has a real chance to get over the hump.
  18. Nor did I. Everybody talks about Houston' toughness well, the Illini took it and returned it in spades.
  19. Definitely, most especially towards the end, the full grab and hold was for Houston. Just a bunch hackers. Tuggler literally committed 10 fouls, could have fouled out within the first 15 minutes.
  20. Buying a NC was just thought nevertheless, it's going to suck when the Illini lose tonight. Most especially losing to a complete POS in Sampson. Lying sacks of horsefeathers are winning quite a bit these days about time one of them lost.
  21. Why the horsefeathers can't the Illini just buy a championship? IU did so in football which is arguably more difficult to do than basketball. Doesn't Illinois have a version of Mark Cuban? If not, maybe, several multi-millionaire Illini alum can pool their resources. I want to see an Illini National Championship in basketball just once in my lifetime.
  22. NCAA D1 Hockey Bracket - Thursday/Friday - hockey is gong to flow right into BB, don't think I'll get much done.
  23. Regarding Illinois - Houston, objectively, most of what's here makes sense - Sweet Sixteen Picks - but, it is the Illini and Brad Underwood. Playing the Cougars in horsefeathers Houston. Man, I loathe everything about Houston mainly, their POS coach. If the Illini can't get the job done, as much as it pains me to say, I hope Nebraska/Iowa can take them down. Even though chances are Nebraska/Iowa won't be able to get the job done either, I still want to see Sampson fail.
  24. In 2022 Houston had the physical advantage over the Illini. Illini were also dealing with pink eye, concussions, locust swarms, etc., neither of these things are the case this time. In fact, the Illini have the physical advantage in size and should, provided the officiating doesn't let Houston get away with too much of their hacking, control the boards.
